So Bioware,

I've bought your spoils of the qunari yesterday and i must say i like it.But i'am also extremly disappointed in the quality of the meshing.Main reason i've bought the dlc was becouse of the armor.

The female version of the light armor and the male version of the heavy armor has some serious seams, cut off around the neck.Who the hell was responsable for the meshing, goofy?
Also on the female light armor there is a area on the left breast which looks like a spike, uneven surface of the body mesh. You can clearly seemit from the side view.Like somebody accidentally pulled the vertices out while meshing and saved it without reviewing the model, mesh.Absolutely terrible meshing there.I modded some armor and body meshes before and i could have done a better job with blender or any other free tool.I would be ashamed if i would upload a armor mod with such terrible meshing.Absolute garbage what Bioware delivered here with the meshes.Should have known better, there goes my qunari run.

Bioware fix the vertices on the female mesh and the cut offs around the neck!
Seriously can't be that difficult, can it?I would do it myself if i had the pc version.
Well my hopes are pretty low that this is going to be fixed. Not going to buy anymore of your garbage Bioware untill you fix the issues we still have in the base game aswell as the new dlc.

Going back to Killer Instinct and Arkham Knight, keep your trash Bioware,

Cheers

Update:I found the same body, head color mismatch on the female qunari light armor as other people have reported. The other races hace the same body color problems just not as bad as the qunari one.

Also it seems that the ingame models have less vertices, polygons than the armor and body models during cinematic dialogue. This is true to all armor and body meshes within the game.Ever wondered why your Characters face looks so different ingame and during dialogue? Well it is becouse it has lower poly count and lower res textures. It's just something i have noticed a couple of times now.Seems they were sloppy, lazy with the ingame models of the qunari dlc.

I will try to contact them about the issues but i doubt they will fix the problems.

Do you have any pictures of what your talking about? All the screen shots I have seen on the armors so far look fine to me. I was going to buy the armour pack but I won't if it looks really bad :/

There are a bunch of pictures (and a video) on this thread (they are under the spoiler tags):

It's unbelievable that they would charge for something like this. It would be embarrassing even if they would give it for free. Good thing I decided not to waste my money on DAI anymore.

I don't have any of the mentioned seams or strange colouring. But then again I usually don't get any of the bugs.

I agree with the OP. I really like the stuff in the newest Spoils pack but there was some serious issues. It was almost as if the armors weren't fully tested on all the characters. Bull has a floating head and there's a disgusting mix match with the texture. Not to mention that the skin tones don't match up for me at all no matter who I have the armor on.

I'm disappointed that Bioware didn't do proper quality control. I'm not sure what's worse: That these issues managed to slip past them or maybe they knew about the issues and sold it anyway? Both are bad.

Bioware bounces back, hopefully the team in charge of the Spoils DLC will improve the quality.

I wish i knew how to share our feelings on this with bioware on low quality stuff like this, i know they aren't paying attention here. It'd be forgivable if it was free but this is $6.99 in my country.

How can they justify not even testing it?

The mesh issue is not the dlc. But the actual game itself, any outfit that shows where the neck meets the body has that mesh issue.

Look at any picture of Florianne De Chalon or Dalish Warrior Armour

I have to retract previous post since IB does have an opening in his neck if seen from the front (I think).

Perhaps this is the best that the Bioware team can do. I'm guessing that they couldn't get the new meshes/skins to work without the neck seam gaps and coloring issues, so they released as is.

... or maybe they just got a few interns to do it for free and then charge you money for it.

The best they can do really ? So explain me just one thing why the qunari armors aren't bugged on human, elf and dwarf but only for qunaris ?

I sent pms to ten employees of Bioware and so far three responded. Two are involved in other projects but Mark Darrah confirmed that they know about it and are working on a fix.

I have used the heavy armour on Iron Bull and my female Qunari with no issues. Used the light armour on female Elf, female Qunari and Viv with no problems at all. EASILY my fav female armour from the whole game.

You mean to say you are not getting this on Iron Bull? http://i115.photobuc...eam problem.jpg

Nope. He looked great in it. Tho now after his choice to save the Chargers I put this armour on him as I think the Qunari armour would remind him too much of that whole... "I'm never going home again" thing.

Are you on pc or console? Post a pic of Iron Bull in the Qunari heavy armor with a close up rear view on his neck. I want to see for myself. Here are two pics of mine. Even on my Inquisitor you can see the neck seam and on Iron Bull it is really bad. I have to assume that you are either not being honest or have really bad vision.

I have had issues with the armors the specific one is the Shokra-taar putting a hideous neck seam and gap on the player character but not the others that wear this armor. I first thought that it was just the armor till I checked the various party members and seeing that they do not have the gap I thought ok maybe drivers and the such so checked them and tried various fixes that did nothing, even restarted to find that it is still there.

That is a link of the enlarged area that I am talking about. I am not running any mods on the pc version and this started after downloading the qunari DLC and is more of a visual hair pulling issue that looks as if a blood mage decided hey the inquisitor needs to look as if beheaded and Dr Frankenstein attempted to reattach it. This is even visible if wearing this armor in cutscenes and if the image shows it you can see the colorization differences from the head and chest. I thought that this only was the issue on female characters so made a male character and it is the same on all races and genders wearing this armor. I understand now the reason that all armors cover this area in this game and why it is impossible to have armor that looks nice and shows a bit of chest

I rate this DLC as a Mega Fail and give it a - 100 due to the armor bug and the throne...OMFG I won't go there

Any official word on when/if this will be addressed?  I bought this DLC entirely for the new armors, since my Qunari Inquisitor looked like an idiot in Orlesian armor with silk sleeves.  But my Inquisitor looks like an even bigger idiot with an obvious neck-seam and a ghost-white body (with normal skin coloration on the head).  It can't be that hard to fix these issues-- especially since they don't exist for other races-- and yet here we are, over a month later with no fix in sight.

C'mon, Bioware.  This is a HUGE bug in separate content we paid for, it's relatively easy to fix (I do it on Skyrim all the time), and yet you're doing nothing.  Do you even care anymore?

Mark Darrah (Executive Producer of the Dragon Age Franchise) told me in pm that they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. My take is either they don't have the talent or EA is bottlenecking their talent.

I guess I'm hoping for a public statement that BioWare will fix it (or won't fix it).  "Trying to fix it" is the kind of noncommital response people give when they want to evade the question.  It could mean anything from setting up an action plan with measurable deliverables to thinking about it now and then but ultimately doing nothing.

"I'm trying to lose weight."

"I'm trying to find a job."

"I'm trying to work on my anti-social issues."

Etc.

He actually said "we are trying to address these" but I totally get your point. The fact that Bioware has not publicly stated as such on these boards is strong evidence that they aren't actually addressing it but thinking or planing on it.

At this point, I don't think I'll download any DLC at all. If Bioware can't be bothered to fix an easy, value-destroying bug, then how can I trust them to fix any bugs in any DLC?
