Why not make rogues gain willpower instead after 200? I'd bet this is a very easy fix

Hmmmm from what drasca has told me crit damage works slightly different then Attack.... if that is the case and Crit damage has a greater effect do to multiplicities and what not I would think crit damage would be a bit more fair assessment, besides that will power is a mage thing cant see the devs changing that..... but still tha is a cool suggestion ![]()

Drasca is right. Reason I suggested that is because implementing it would be a simple logic fix (if cunning > 200, grant 1 willpower instead) while your better idea I bet would be harder to implement, as I don't think there is any stat related variable that directly affects crit. dmg (dex only works for rogue and is +1% crit dmg and not 0.25%)

ahhh i see what your getting at..I agree from a programmers point of view , but if they can put crit damage on weapons then there is a variable for it cant see it being much more harder then what you were talking about.

my understanding was that Dexterity provided a 1% crit damage bonus to all classes and that rogues also received a .5% attack per point. Dexterity still wouldn't be the way to go though, since it would be disproportionate advances for them above other classes.

I may be the only person in all of DAMP to feel this way, Yet it needs to be said anyways.
Promotions should be nothnig more than promotions. A way for people to stroke their epeen. Bioware ruined any chance they had at a balanced multiplayer when they added stat increases to promotions.

but they didn't add it, it's been a part of the game from the start... so that means you just don like that aspect of damp, but honestly I don't think they ever expected any one to promote as much as me or the other rank 1-10's (all platforms)

you are definitely not the only one. I hope the system they have never returns.

Agreed. But, there's no going back, so we must learn to deal with what we have, even though it's less than ideal.I may be the only person in all of DAMP to feel this way, Yet it needs to be said anyways.

You may very well be right. But, coming from an N7180 ME3 player with a maxed manifest I sure thought it was nice to get something for starting over.

I use to feel this way, but just the other day I realized I have played DAMP longer than I've played me3. I think the main reason for this is the stat grinding.
It's a weird paradox for me (and I think for many others), in that I like me3 more than DAMP, but I am playing DAMP a lot longer than me3. Very strange.

Cunning shouldn't even add to crit chance imo, should of been crit dmg from the start. It stops being a "critical" hit if it happens every attack.
I hate to admit it but....that is very true

When I said they added it. I implied they added it during development. Cause they said they basically took ME3MP and "improved" it.
As far as not liking the increased stats with rollovers. You are both right and wrong. I never use to care one way or the other. Then nightmare and heartbreaker modes came out. And the people I use to play with all the time. Started saying no to joining a group to run content. Just for the simple fact that my stats were to low. And by to low I mean my stats are 35-50-60 (give or take a few points)
And if they never expected people to promote their toons as much as they have. Bioware never would have added caps to some of the stats from rollovers.

Yeah definitely, i wouldn't mind there being unbalanced rewards for grinding if it didn't kill skill and teamplay as much as it does.
The community answer to "how do i do this" seems most of the time to be "overlevel and zerg it". New players buy into this all the time, and i guess those who don't leave.
Sad since there's a great team game underneath those bloated stats.

while in truth I'd have to agree with you on that the kits do become some what op as crit chance climbs I will also like to point out in nightmare and above as well as for hokkon weapons crit chance is a inescapable must......
Well it will allow you to set out on a quest to OHK the dragon. I think it would be worth it, no?

lol you would have to promote cunning 600 times to gain 100% crit DMG extra thats a hokkon weapon and if you run cunning up to 600 you deserve it
