How many players are in your region? Can you count the number of players on your fingers, are they all on your friends list? Or are there so many that you've never seen the same name twice?

Please share your experiences with Platform and Region.

Platform: PS4

Region: Oceania

Active Players: I have every player in my region on my friends list... currently only 3 - 4 of these players are on actively

Connection: UFB Fibre 100/50 low ping

Standard Lobby State: Empty

I'm not sure how I would know if I had every player in my region on my friends list (I suspect not) or how to calculate how many are in my region.  I tend to run into the same names with fair frequency if that's any measure.

Platform and region and do you more often get placed in empty lobby or an active lobby?

Platform: PC

Region: West Coast, USA

Active Players: No clue.  Have about 30 friends on my list who have played DAIMP.  Only about a third of them who still do regularly.

Connection: Comcast Cable.

Standard Lobby State: Threatening and Perilous games are usually pretty easy to find in progress.  On the occasions where none are found, and I get dumped into my own, I can start solo and the game will generally fill by the end of the first zone.

That's so good!

I can sit in a lobby for 30 minutes and have maybe one person join. In the weekend it'll pick up a little where I can join a game with maybe 2 other people or have 1 person join.

Before ESO there was a better chance of finding a game in progress with one person.

R.I.P. Dragon Age Oceania.

Europe + PC here too

But honestly, Even in pugs I come across the same players again and again and when I search for perilous pugs in the afternoon I often (50%) land in my own lobby...

So I wouldn't second "tons" of players...

Has the recent trial game and free MP changed player numbers?

On Routine: yes
On threatening: sort of (although I still see many known names)
On perilous and above: not really (only some lost undergeared confused souls :D )

PC, Brazil.
My connection is about average for Third World standards.

Pugging is impossible, except for Routine in the Afternoons. There are probably somewhere between zero to one Public lobbies available during primetime and zero lobbies outside primetime in my region.

There are five active Brazilian players on PC, all are in my list, four are on the Leaderboards. We have been supporting each other's progess. However, at late nights (the only time that I am free to play) there aren't many around, and I end up having to rely on Americans to get games going. Most of them have good connections for me. Some are quite welcoming.

I am in Eastern Europe. Not sure why (Europe should have lots of people) and my internet is pretty good but I feel like there are only 3 other people that play (higher) difficulties at all times. Like... try to enter different lobbies and get the same people over and over again.

Cable Modem

I forget what the 4th item on the list was

Edit: I host a Threating game & it's filled before I finish Zone 1.  I host a Perilous game and I usually have people start joining at the very end of Zone 2.

PC/Europe

LAN and a very good connection

When I PUG I mostly end up full/filling Lobbies (tho some days ago Peri was horrible empty, instead I saw Lvl 20s in Threatening idk what happened...)

When i try to play with friends (I only have 4 ._.) I get lag *looks at Gya* if I host myself, I don't.

PS4, Western Europe.

Fibre. But the wifi isn't always good.

No trouble finding lobby's since the last patch. Before had trouble finding other people to do perilous runs with, now there's always a couple of lobby's going on.

Have 28 on friends list of which 4-8 are active in the pm. In the am it's a ghost town although lately some new faces popping up from early afternoon. Can create a lobby in threatening even in the evenings and have no one join the entire run then other times once one person joins it fills up rapidly. . normally play couple threatening then into perilous. .

Upto 8 friends active daily.
NM/Peri pugs always empty
Routine/Threat will have games during prime time.
90% of names familiar.
I'll hazard a guess and say there's about 20 players in our little pool at any given time and no more than 50 total.
I'd play more cross region but I've got the fastest connection in town and it sux.

PC Brazil.

Don't have friends, only public matches.
I always find lobbies, but not too much on perilous. Sometimes have to solo threatening.

I use to play late night. 5 mbps ADSL connection.

You can't be serious! Or your are a really new players, Otherwise I would have been aware of your existence.
I play at late nights too, and my definition of late night is like from 12 am to 6 am. If you happen to play at these hours, feel free to friend request me.
