She didn't always have a heal on hit passive. So using rage would always drop your health pool. A month ago you almost never saw reavers running around. Since she got the huge buff, She is amazing. And routine isn't ran that much anymore. I do 1 game on threatening at lvl 1 to get a few skills going and its nothing but perilous/NM after that. Before the armor/guard buffs and the reavers natural heal on hit you couldn't do that with her. But these days I am talking about were before your time in the game.

She is pretty similar now to what she was before they took the HoH from dragon rage when in Rampage.

However, she has always been good, just people would dragon rage until she died rather than mixing it with dragon rage to half health then devour or dragon rage to low health and rampage, normal attacks till 100% health then dragon rage... Rinse wash and repeat.

I think what you're saying is people don't know how to do anything but push one button found the reaver hard/ People who played Arcane Warrior and only used spirit blade.....

The statement that she didnt always have the passive ability to heal is important to this post because THAT change is what has made her such a beast.

No, it wasn't?

I mean, literally the second sentence in my above post said how Dragon Rage does not seem to trigger that heal on hit, only normal melee swings.  And you have not disagreed with that statement.  I'm willing to admit I could be wrong on my observations, but while I definitely see the heal on normal swings I don't seem to see it on Dragon Rage swings.  And if it doesn't affect Dragon Rage swings then that change didn't suddenly turn her into a beast.

Indeed.  Lacking a tiny amount of heal on hit for normal melee swings wouldn't have changed anything.

DR does not proc HoH. (Only just confirmed this)
3 things made Reaver top tier.
1. Armour buff.
2. Health per lvl buff and starting HP.
3. Dragon Maul and Hakkon's Valor.

I had 8 promotions with her pre buff and dmg output was the same but she was glassy and you had to LoS. Not glassy anymore. I happily stay out in the open z4 FC NM and only LoS mobs in the towers to make them jump into my reach.
Then it's GG thanks for comin

Every time I see this thread I think that the OP was being clever and used the word "cotton" with its dual meaning as a material or to grasp a concept.

But every time I click here, nothing about tier 3 upgrades for two handed weapons, or the various issues with hoarding the king of materials in this game.

Alright, back to taking cheap shots at Dragon Racers lack of HOK stuff, or semantics arguments about when people implied that the Reaver became viable.
