In ME3 there's a side mission on the Citadel, after the Cerberus attack, where you have to track down various Batarian code hacks. It eventually ends up with you being ambushed by Balak, the Batarian terrorist from the ME1 DLC Bring Down the Sky.
Even with my worst Renegade Shepard I could never bring myself to sacrifice the hostages in order to kill Balak in ME1 so I was wondering: is there is a variation of this mission if Balak was killed or does it not happen at all?
