Like by Non-generic, I mean NAMED 2H swords that are really powerful.

I've been wondering a similar question; I'm trying to spec my Human Noble Warrior in 2H but the family shield and sword from the origin are so superior to any 2H weapons I've encountered so far that it's a little tough to justify. Since the completely linear bit (up to Lothering), I've retrieved Shale and I'm working my way through the Brecilian Forest.

*spoiler alert*

If you have Warden's Den you can find a chunk of starmetal from a meteor in a random encounter. You bring it to the smith at Warden's Keep (after completion) and he'll create a weapon for you. You can choose which weapon you want, and I chose the 2-handed sword. It has 3 enhancement slots and does massive damage. I got the random encounter around level 9, so I'm not sure if this happens at a certain level, or right after you finish the Warden's Den. 
I'm not sure if you can create it without the DLC.

Yep, I got the star metal. Is it the one where this couple said that it's a miracle the child survived the meteor? And that they're gonna keep him as their own? If so, yes I've gotten it.

LATE in the game there is also one called The Summer Sword if you kill some chick that ambushes you while escorting anora.

Hmm I don't know who this Anora is, so I think I'm not far enough.. btw though, i've got 2 slight problems that are off topic to this thread but maybe you would know..

1) Where are the 5 "hooded couriers" in DENERIM? I could but find 4.
2) I accidentally told this Dwarven smith called Janar that *spoilers* his daughter ran off to join the Circle... and he got so pissed off he asked me to get out. I can't buy from his armory anymore, is that it though? Because he still has that quest logo, but when I talk to him he asks me to get out.

There's also The Ageless - from solving a puzzle in Orzamarr's throne room BEFORE setting up the new king. Pretty handy for fighting darkspawn but sadly missing runeslots

It's not from the summoning quest in the apprentice quarters which is what I believe they were saying. There is, however, an easter egg in that quest >.>
