I am not even sure Bioware even listens to anything on this forum anymore. They will more likely take suggestions from Reddit and other sites before they take any suggestions here.

Some of people their might make a brief visit every now and then to take a look at the spectacle, but it doesn't seem like it's a popular watering hole. It's not like this forum is adverticed to the rest of the World either. It's not linked if you type in www.masseffect.com, Or Bioware, OR EA.... It's the Bioware Darknet, invitation only or found through dedication :P Some of us diehard old fans still finds it since we're looking for what we're used to visiting.

Maybe they are ashamed of us, but they still let us play around in the basement where most people can't see us. Possibly thinking it's best if we stay there.

We're like Harbinger; unstoppable, limitless.
We're in Dark Space, and if they let us out, we will try to rid their Galaxy from all their organic thoughts. We're just preparing for our invasion by trying to indoctrinate the Bioware employees.

I guess, they are more active on reddit than here. Which is kinda.. well this is their forum so it would make sense for them to be around here and listening what people who own their products and support them have to say.

I've noticed most gaming companies have forgone their official forums for reddit. I'll never understand why.

I asked my parents for a dog every birthday and Christmas for fifteen years. Got one after fifteen years. Gotta be patient sometimes.

One day we'll have a Bioware game that has 146 romance options that include every possible orientation and fetish, also an option to have romances, nudity, gore and foul language disabled. A sexy on/off switch. 87 amazing hair options that flow like god touched them. The game will be so big, it will take a month real time to see everything. Story will be 300+ hours of quality content. Amazing sidequests. A million choices with 58 vastly different endings. The game will ship as a SP-only or MP-only version. The game will be only $5. All DLC will be free.

WE JUST HAVE TO KEEP DEMANDING THESE THINGS AND IT WILL HAPPEN!

You had to make me do it, huh?

Still 5 base hairstyles from what I'm seeing. You can make subtle changes but nothing significant that's not hair color.

I think you just summed up a lot of the BSN with that sentence.  :P

The way I see it, Bioware could look over these threads and get an impression of what a bunch of individual guys would like to have, but I think they're smart enough to realize that just because fans say "I don't want this feature" it doesn't mean they should remove it. I think Bioware has a good idea of what they want their games to be, but when there's a loud voice saying "I want x!" and they hear it very often, they'll probably feel like trying to please that crowd.

I don't think something like "Please, no romances!" Is something Bioware takes to heart.

She's not on the forums much, but she's pretty awesome.  I was happy to quote her.  :)

And was it all you hoped for, or did they get you one of those ones that chew your best shoes?

He was the sweetest dog ever. But it was a compromise. I only got to have an old dog that would die before I finished college, so that it wouldn't become my parent's burden eventually. Fair enough, I thought. So I got a ten year old dog from a Spanish shelter that arrived by airplane whose former owner, an old lady, had died. He lived another four years and four months.

Best years of my life, and maybe his too.

So if Bioware can somehow manage to work a sweet old dog into their budget, that's all I need to be happy.

Bio will give us a Mass Effect game from their understanding of "what makes a Mass Effect game?". The rest is just filler.

At the start, the game already gives you choices to modify how the game plays out. From easy to hard, class and gender selection, automatic or manual skill upgrades.. etc.  The most difficult to do is customizing the game story. This is the area that must be under strict control to avoid hopeless story branches that will lead to an unfocused story arc and possibly a writers nightmare because you need to tie down those loose threads, somehow.... (I'm looking at DA amd ME Shep series).

Would be nice to have game customization that on a 2nd playthrough, will be quite different from the first one.

Still better when 20 bald options.
