I wonder if Asari, or Turian, can sleep on thier back with head on pillow (and looking at he ceiling), because they have those things on heads.
I hope that you understand what I mean.

I can't find a pic, but yes, Liara is perfectly able to sleep on her back.

I would say no. At least no without some especially made pillow.

Liara says that those "head-tentacles" are made of cartilage, sleeping on them would be rather uncomfortable.

Sleeping on the back is actually a very uniquely human thing. I'm not aware of any other animal that does it. So it's perfectly sensible to assume that an alien lifeform might not be able, or even want to do so.

Our ears are made of cartilage yet we have no issue sleeping on them. I assume it is similar with the asari.

The turians on the other hand must have special pillows or something.

I agree regarding cats, maybe dogs too. But I bet that this is not how they act in their natural environment.

Well, considering that you can snuggle Garrus after the suicide mission (if you're romancing him) and he's on his back in bed, I'd assume Turians can sleep on their backs. I would think it would be supremely uncomfortable however. Those things will poke your eye out.
