I've bought Digital Deluxe Edition of ME2 (10.8Gb download via EADM) and noticed that load times are quite long, so i asked a friend of mine, who bought a 2DVD box version, to lend it to me for a while. I've installed this one on my PC instead of digital one and compared load times. It happens so that they are a WAY faster than ones in digital version - it takes just a few seconds to switch floors on Normandy (often i don't even get to see elevator move on the animation screen), where it's 2-5 times slower on digital one.
I wonder ... have anyone else noticed this? Is it supposed to be this way ?
I'ts the same video settings, very same PC, no antivirus, torrents, whatever running on background.
Load times: Digital vs DVD version.

that is interesting because I think the PC DVD load times are really long.... maybe its an issue with computer hardware?

fyi im running on a i7 860 @ 4Ghz HT on with ram running at DDR3 1800 and a GTX 260 216core
so that might be why my loads are so fast

Ok, i found out what was slowing load times. Not really a DDE vs DVD version issue. Nvidia PhysX GPU acceleration was the problem. DVD version didn't use it when i installed it for some reason.
As soon as i turned it off (not like u're precision crushing walls in huge buildings in ME2 e.t.c. ... so u don't really need it here) in Nvidia Control Panel, load times have gone way better.
