What are single people in their 20s supposed to do on a Friday night? I always pictured myself out at the bar trying to pick up every attractive woman, not working my butt off all the time with school and work.

Can I bounce back and have a decent family life later on if I just have fun in my 20s?

Yes.

But if you want to get laid so badly, just get a hooker. That works.

There is no better thing you can do right now than work on your skills. Think of it this way, if you want to do this late let's say by 28, you will have to start from a very low perspective expertise and experience wise. If you are continuously working on your blade or your craft, by 28 you will be amazing(if you put the work in).

Also, going out is overrated.  Yeah you will meet a girl in the club hit it off, feel that little bit of euphoria but what is the net gain? At this point you need to build and empire and have someone who believes in your empire my G. Look for inspiration not imitation.

^takes all the fun of the chase out of it

Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain.

You know those kids you see at arcades sometimes, who are only watching the preview footage of the arcade game but aren't actually playing it because they haven't payed for it yet, but are randomly mashing buttons acting like they are?

That's what life in your 20's is like for pretty much everyone mate.

You said you are working and studying all the time therefore wouldn't have time for the chase anyway

Yes and you're making it worse with threads like this. My 20s have been a compete waste thus far but I don't make a thread about it every week.

Who needs a healthy social life? I work, school and return home to my computer. People online are far easier to tolerate than people in real life

For the record, the first five years of my twenties, I totally wasted by partying, playing video games and having no focus. Aside from eventually getting a liberal arts degree, not much to be shown for those years.

From the time I was 25 to 30, I established myself in a good career, started and finished my MBA, met the woman of my dreams who I married and had a kid, all while netting no less than five promotions or new jobs.

If you think you are "wasting" your 20's by working or not partying, trust me... you're not. Clubbing, partying and doing pointless stuff just leaves you with pounding headaches and nothing to show for it. And when it comes to finding the right woman... it sounds like you are more caught up in the prowl than in the finding. Once you become less concerned with meeting women, THAT'S when you'll find the right woman.

Ha! I'm not sure I'm a guru of tying my shoes most days, let alone all the rest.

I've managed to have a little success in my life, but also a ton of bad luck and poor choices. Just trying to pass on as best I can.
