Almost every time that i returned to Skyhold for my "dialogue rounds" and they were out of other dialogue options (exception made for Solas
).

My primary romance is Dorian and I adore the kiss-on-demand scene. That said I don't really take it too often because I have so much stuff going on in my head with that character that fills in so I don't feel compelled to do so. If I had to throw out a number, I might say five or so times a PT? I visit all the followers regularly, and with my LI I will sometimes just click and say good-bye to hear the greeting/parting lines -- "Could I adore you more? Probably not." (*swoon*) -- only clicking on the kiss option when I'm in the mood, since it is a cinematic, even if a short one. With Dorian there is also the "Let's spend time together" option where he throws out an amusing remark, so I will sometimes go with that instead.

Would be neat if they had multiple kissing scenes that alternate every time you kiss your LI. Especially if the game had night and day, so that you use certain cutscenes for night time, others for day time, and other variables. Extraneous content I know, but later in the game I didn't kiss Cullen often. As flaming hot as he is, it's just the same cutscene so I stopped caring lol.
This! Of course it would just be total fan service, but that dialog option was basically fan service anyway right? And it would kind of add more incentive to choosing it again since it is a repeatable option.
I always thought they would do something like in Mass Effect with the "Captain's Quarters" thing. I played probably around 200 hours in this game, but I probably only went to the Inquisitor's room like a couple times total. There's nothing to do there. Sure you can buy new beds, you really have no incentive to go to your room.
Bioware devs, if you read this, could you look into the idea of having your LI go to your room. Not necessarily for a sex scene, but maybe they can hang out on the balcony and watch the sunset or something "romantic". I'm sure you guys could come up with something as an incentive to actually go there besides to just look at the new Orleasian II bed you just bought and never go back again. ![]()

Dorian had the best kiss.
Blackwalls was more like a tiny peck and a stroke of the beard...wasn't a fan but did like his random comments afterwards.
Cullen has a nice kiss but annoying the lip smacking sound is hella out of sync.
yeah I liked to go back to kiss my LI loads. Just because.
Would have been nice to have even just a couple of alternate kissing scenes.

Do you mean having the LI move from their standard place into the Inquisitor's quarters? For instance, Dorian leaves the library? Or do you just mean a temporary thing?
If it's a permanent move you're asking for they will most likely not do that. One of the reasons is because of cinematics. All of the cinematics are specifically staged, so clicking on the LI in your quarters and having it jump to their standard location would look very bad and be jarring. They're also not going to produce two different cinematics for each scene on the off chance that the person happens to have moved. They could just have them be stationed at their standard place when a cinematic scene is in the queue I suppose...
I'm also not too big a fan of the idea, and neither did I like the way it worked in DA2 with Merrill and Anders just standing there. These NPCs are people with their own agency, and some of them are leaders in their own right and have sh*t to do other than hang out in their partner's bedroom all day.
If you are NOT referring to a permanent move but rather just an occasional scene the idea is an interesting, and I agree welcome, one. That said, I would rather they spend the resources on something else. These romances are optional content so they're not going to get too carried away.

For Cullen, Blackwall, Dorian, and Josie, all the time. If I was doing my rounds and they had no dialogue, they got kissed instead. For Cassandra and Bull, not so much, may twice apiece.
I blame my failure to feel a connection in Solas's romance almost solely on the inability to kiss him at will. I know that a lot of players dislike the kissing and welcomed a more cerebral relationship, but it didn't work for me. YMMV.

No, I was just suggesting a temporary thing.
Not sure if you're familiar with ME since you don't have the icon under your avatar, but in that game you have a "captain's cabin" section of the ship. Basically just a room to look at your collectibles, customize armor, and it has a couch/bed/shower. In ME2(I think), you have the option to call your LI up to your quarters, and it would basically warp them to your couch and you just have the option to sit on the couch with them or lay down on the bed together(video in spoiler tag) and when you left, they were back to their normal spot on the ship. Sure it was a cheesy little function, but it was at least something to do. I was just suggesting something similar to what they did there. Not sure the mechanics they would use in this game to "send them to your room"... maybe send a raven or something. LOL
Now if given a choice, I'd much rather them spend resources on additional story content obviously. I know Bioware doesn't seem opposed to "just for fun" content. But it's just a free idea I wanted to throw out there because as much as I loved dumping my personal time into the game, exploring everything, I felt like the bedroom area was completely pointless/useless. I think the only time I ever went there, aside from initially exploring everything in Skyhold, was when I was looking for that one guy's 48 books.

Can't disturb Josie too often. She is the foundation of the inquisition.

I wish we'd get more than a fade to black tbh

I don't mind a fade, but I do wish the kiss-on-demand were a bit more elaborate. For example, outside of that option there are three other staged elaborate Dorian kisses that all show more than what we see with the kiss-on-demand.
BUT -- huge but here -- I wouldn't trade that close-up of his adoring expression for anything. I so want to hug the cine-design person responsible for that one.

I just did it two or three times with Cassandra before I was like "Okay, this might be a lot of fun for my character when the camera's off him, but it's just too repetitive for me to do any more. If I want to see something new, I need to progress the story."

With Solas....none. You only get to kiss him three times during cut scenes and that's it no options other than that. But they were very good kisses, I love how he kisses my Lavellan so passionately.
Since we don't have an option like others I just click on him to hear him say "Vhenan" ...it takes a few tries to get him to say it but it's worth it lol! ![]()
Let's see with my male elf who romanced Cassandra I have had him kiss her two or three times. My female Human she kissed Cullen twice and these are the ones that have the option to kiss their LI's. ![]()
