I just started the Windows 10 download. My question is,how many of you have upgraded, and are there any issues I should be aware of?Also, does it have any noticeable impact on this game?(good or bad)

It's funny you started this thread, because I was waiting on feedback on DAI/DAIMP before upgrading.
Keep an eye on this thread, OP:

OK, man, you try first and tell how it goes. The driver updates are forced though and you never know what you get when they update. So, there might be issues. I'm not doing it, not until Christmas or next year and only if it is actually good.
I didn't upgrade because I only have 4 gigs spare space on C:\ , but one of my friends updated to Win 10 on Jul 29, according to him it makes no difference when playing DAMP.
So here's my guess: the game should be compatible, don't expect huge performance gain though.
I went ahead and installed it,and so far DAMP and everything else seems to run just as well as before. The upgrade was painless, the only extra thing needed was the windows 10 nvidia driver which took only a few minutes to download.I plan on joining the XBone community fairly soon,so the new xbox app should be pretty interesting to look into.
I'm still poking around with the OS,but I'm definitely liking what I see better than win7 or 8.1 so far.
Thx for feedback. But I think I wait a few more months. Maybe until the next servicepack gets released.

Did you play a bit with DAMP.
I upgraded on the 29th and every now and then DAMP seems to freeze up for 1 or 2 seconds. The sounds is skipping like an old vinyl and the video is frozen. This happens like once or twice every hour...
I can't seem to shake off the problem so I'm very interested in seeing if someone else has the same problem.
Otherwise, everything runs just fine. DAMP is just as smooth except for those 1 or 2 seconds freeze once in a while. Never had that problem before...
Of course, before anyone think I'm a complete noob, everything is up to date, even the UEFI.Edit #1:
Installed another game and the problem seem related only to DAMP. I don't have the freeze at all there. I guess I'll wait for a new NVidia driver and "pray" it solves all the world problems (illness, hunger and obviously occasional freeze in DAMP)
Edit #2:
It seems I created my own problem by knowing "too much". One of my "optimisations" didn't react the same way it did in Win 7, 8 and 8.1 and it limited my processor to only 2 cores instead of 4... Removed the setting and the problem went away ![]()
On the bright side, DAMP works just fine now ![]()

You're going to wait awhile then, as Microsoft doesn't do service packs for Windows any longer.
On topic; I've not seen any issues using any games with Windows 10 out of the seven games I have installed so far;
Battlefield 4, DA:I, WoW, FFXIII, EverQuest (1), Starcrawlers and Warhammer 40K - Regicide.
I did have a couple of crashes over 5 games, but I just found that my nvidia control panel had reset back to default settings after the graphics update. It disabled my SLI,and all the custom adjustments I made were reset to default.
I've corrected all the settings and am about to run some more games to make sure that was the problem, however I'm 99% sure it was.

After getting the nvidia CP settings back the way I had them, everything is fine.I even had a match with multiple Zither's and no noticeable issues to speak of. ![]()
works fine for me, i installed win 10 (2 days ago) because i was hopping to get msi afterburner / riva tuner to work, but it didnt solved it...
DAMP runs almost the same in win 10 comparing to win 8.1 or win 7, but i do prefer the newest OS so i guees i would stick with it since no major problems until now
I've also updated to Win 10 from 8.1 without any issues.
It's neither better or worse than before only problem that's reared it's head is my Origin overlay has stopped working again but I had that from time to time with 8.1.
I've been on/off testing DAIMP on Windows 10 for a couple of weeks now. It was not going well until nVidia finally released the Windows 10 drivers on 28 July. It's been fine ever since.
I would recommend to anyone that's upgrading: After you get your activation key, try to do a clean install unless you really don't have the time. Don't want any leftovers from those old-timey OSes effecting your performance, yeah?
