Okay, so... Somewhere in the middle of, um... "transposing" Suzanne Vega, I did actually remember what the original song's subject matter was.

 

After briefly pondering whether it was in poor taste to continue, I decided that a) I thought the level on which it was playing with a popular song about "Luka" was kinda funny, and b) that I had already put enough work into it that I was going to finish it, regardless.

Having met Susan Vega at a meet and greet once, I'm sure she would see the beauty of her song against the hidden victims of child abuse brilliantly turned into a ballad to a unheralded and tragically underemployed character in a non-competitive multiplayer game.

You are now of course tempting me to rewrite one of their classics into an ode to the beloved Elementalist, which shall now forever pop into my head with the title "It's a Shame About Rion."

Edit: just woke up, don't know what's sadder, that the first thing I do is check out BSN, or that I continued contemplating my Lemonheads reworking in the shower. I totally failed on the title of my cover song...

On the topic of Dragon Age related cover songs, I have sadly begun work on another one. Hold on this might crash the internet....

(I am glad I have to actually go to work today so I don't actually sit around and do this all day)

I must say I'm slightly disappointed, my fellow BSNers, I would have expected at least one "stop" or a slightly off color meme implying that I was awful or at least some form of digital discouragement.

But no. Nothing.

That means one of two things. Either my ingenious Katari/Volare mash up failed to properly entice a response, because people don't even know the original song, hence fail to see the brilliance/ awfulness of my attempt, or they are simply waiting with baited breath as to how I could ever follow up such a quality idea.

Much to your chagrin (and mine, actually) I am assuming the latter, leaving me no other course of action then to begin work on a whole album of DAMP related parody songs. Please direct all complaints to Jeremiah, he is the inspiration for my potential metamorphosis into this websites Wierd Al.

" Avaars Cold Crush" a home spun ditty about our favorite Skywatcher. (After Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush")

"Hackety Hack" a fun upbeat tune celebrating attack canceling (in the style of "Yakety Yak" by the Coasters)

"That's Venatori" an Italian crooners serenade to everyone's favorite faction (after "That's Amore!" by Dean Martin, a veritable treasure trove of DAMP material.)

"Faded for You" a power jam about when you risk your neck reviving someone, who then leaves you to bleed out. (To Heart's "Crazy for You")

(Thank you for sharing that by the way, I was a Gamefaqqer during the ME3 days. It, it was a dark time. I did make a post about least favorite ladders in Mass Effect Multiplayer, which, cue the Law and Order sound wav, foreshadows a secret DAMP project I've been working on, soon to be revealed! Hey! You had a chance to chime in 3 months ago, I refuse to be Nugged, into some sort of position worthy of ridicule, when everyone politely ignored this when it first appeared.

In fact reading this makes me want to work on "Songs that will make you DAMP 2: Even DAMPer."

(Still working on the aforementioned secret project! It will bring the BSN to its knees faster then you can say "Disconnected from the Dragon Age servers.")

did anyone try flask of fire + elemental mines using bloody bargain + superb stamina amulet?

 

using the boost to attack speed I can use the ability 1 to 2 times more when under FF + 10 more mines because of SS amulet (TE=1 more mine for each 5 stamina)

 

And besides the thing I like about her is that I can be lazy

 

just stealth then FF + mines sit back and farm kills and heal yourself, maybe go to the toilet.

 

The only character that can farm kill streaks without doing anything, place the mines, sit enjoy the fireworks. I find her to be the one character I have the most fun with when soloing just find the right choke point place mines play hide and seek lol
