The mini map looks like it is showing a portion of some random load screen, instead of a map. What have I done wrong?

 

Edit: does it make sense what I'm asking? t only seems to happen in Test mode from the toolset, so I won't lose sleep over that, Regular game shows the minimap correctly

No idea really; that's never happened in my experience. It almost sounds like something funky with a graphics card buffer, or some such thing. Is this on Windows 8?

iirc the minimap can be overriden. Lance Botelle probably knows how.

iirc there was a post somewhere about this (could have been a different forum). I think they figured out part of it was to do with the latest NVidia drivers if you are running an NVidia graphics card. Ill try and find the post again and link it here, may take some time since I don't remember where I had seen it

i learned the hard way don't run from the Toolset. Your mileage may vary but worse things than the minimap may happen. On the other hand, NwN2 idles perfectly fine on the main menu, in the background while the TS is open ... just waiting to reload your module.

regard the minimap thing as a warning and kick the habit,

Thank you all. I have Windows 8.1 (6.3.96), Nvidia GTX 760, I updated the Nvidia driver maybe a month or so ago.

 

I checked both override folders, but I just have a few .ncs and .nss files there.

I second what KevL says .... Post again if the problem returns without going through "TEST" mode.

Our module has a custom mini map. While mine works, my friend keeps having this problem too lol

We have the exact same folders, so I'm not quite sure.

 

Though saying that, it did happen to me once, but I just minimized and then opened it up to fix it.
