OP you forgot one magic word......PLEASE!? They will announce something when ready certainly this tragedy of a thread you created won't make the game release sooner.
It may not make it release sooner but atleast they get the message. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINKS I AM NOT PATIENT... GUESS WHAT... I have been waiting for Final Fantasy XV since 2006 and at Gamescom I am glad it will have a presence there.

I'm playing a game of "Spot the guy who isn't a Fallout fan who's been waiting for the announcement of the next game for 5 years with zero news" and it seems like you're it, man.
I have Fallout New Vegas in my Steam library but you are right I am not much of a fan of Fallout especially with the VATS system it feels... odd. I am more interested with the new Elder Scrolls... also I have the Metro Series for the post apocalyptic setting

Casey still provided some direction for the franchise, but Casey has left the company all together and now works at Microsoft as Creative Director on HoloLens

Glad he was able to help lay the groundwork and general direction for Mass Effect Andromeda. Casey has been at the helm of some of my favorite games of all time (KOTOR and Mass Effect series). I was very disappointed when I learned he was going to be leaving, but I guess everyone wants a new challenge at some point. The HoloLens does seem like a novel and cool idea, and I see how that might have potential. And based on his past work, if anyone can apply a solid and fun vision and make that vision a reality, it's gotta be Casey Hudson ![]()

Such thigns in a Project just increases the risk that another... What was that last Duke Nukem game called now again.... To be created-- The thread and story is lost all over again and it all becommes a mess.
Hopefully that won't happen though.

Actually, Bio gave us something... indirectly. So, if you want information, continue reading.
EA's PLAYBOOK FY 2016
From April to June, The Playbook shows EA's game stats-
1. SimCity.................................1.6 million beaches created and 9.9 billion minutes played
2. Fifa 2015............................... 232 million matches and 3.4 billion goals scored
3. Battlefield hardline............... 11.9 million successful rescue missions
4. Madden 2015 ....................... 1.9 billion minutes played
5. Most Popular Vault games.... Fifa 2015, Battlefield 4, Madden 2015 with 16.5 million total vault sessions.
Now for good old Inquisition, the 2014 Game of the Year!
6. DAI...................................... Most battled Dragon in MP mode. Frost =59%, Inferno=24%, Storm=17%
Analysis
EA counts minutes now, instead of hours played. Better to shock the clueless inventors is my guess. Also, note the top 3 games. Surprisingly, the most advertized GOTY game of 2014 doesn't make it in the top 4. Interesting that this GOTY game only gets percentage figures. One can reasonable conclude that DAI playtime, even calculated in minutes, must be abysmal.
Complete details here:
http://www.ea.com/ne...-q1-infographic
I expect more ME:A info to come from the occasional teaser tweet and the main event is probably at PAX PRIME in Seattle. There, BIO Montreal will show some juicy trailer and have a Q&A session, if DAI past annoucements is anything to go by.
So, look forward to Aug 28-31, 2015.

I hope they keep gameplay info to a minimum this time. IF they say too much we'll be told that we set up and protect colonies from attacks, and each colony or space station gives us stat boosts, only to find when the game comes out that was all cut.

Ehh I wish they could have the Bethesda style. Keep everything secret till the game is almost done then announce it with actual content (non-story ofc). I think their short marketing campaign is going to pay well.

Unlike Bethesda, which had buzz about Fallout 4 constantly for the past five years (so much so that a fan-made FO4 "announcement" hoax last year made national news), Bioware doesn't have a rabid fanbase for ME. The ending controversies of ME3 caused so much discontent and dissatisfaction that even amongst former fans, the announcement of ME4 is a mixed bag, especially since the team is completely leaving the entire galaxy behind, making it a soft reboot of sorts.
ME4 is going to need some marketing. And, in typical Bioware fashion, that will involve all companions being revealed, lots of story spoilers released and very little actual gameplay shown (or the gameplay that is shown being later retconed and not making it into the game).

Patience, even though BioWare (I believe) won't be at GamesCom, doesn't mean their presence won't be felt. Even if nothing is shown there, patience. They won't disappoint. I can't wait for N7 day, that is when BioWare will serve us a full course meal!

To be fair, it only counts Dragon Slayer DLC dragons. Because of the game breaking bugs during the first months, quite a lot of players left.
