Because the more I think about it without knowing what direction it goes it feels like... failing. After ME3 it left a sour taste on me and I expect this new "RE-BIRTH" game to fix everything, I don't know it's like Final Fantasy Versus XIII all over again until a huge chunk of information was released yet we still don't know how that game will perform in the long run. Speaking of which Gamescom is coming.

Maybe those folks where right... I should watch "is it worth getting" videos before deciding on buying the game.

                                                                           <<<<<<<<<<()>>>>>>>>>>

That's right, it's a new game about new characters with a new story, new hostile species, new alien LI, new PC and the game won't  look back to the "home" galaxy. Meaning it won't "fix anything" because there is nothing to fix.

Personally, showing th N7 symbol in the trailer was a marketing mistake because it implies a connection with Shep.

Didn't they ask in a survey about "WHAT N7 MEANS TO US" I think it's obvious it reflects Shepard who is a member of an elite military group. Of course any BioWare defenders would argue otherwise stating it does not represent Shepard LMAO

They had to! cause there was no mass effect feeling in that trailer at all.

Last time I checked, Shepard was not the only N7.

What connection? Because they showed the Paladin pistol it also means that it has a connection with Shepard? (see where I'm getting?) N7 has a connection the same way humanity or the Alliance has, I don't see why it's so special.

I do understand that is a bit annoying for some people, especially when that N7 dude scene looks very similar to one of the ME3 trailers, but people need to let it go already.

It has a connection solely because we never really encountered another one with the logo. It'd be different if they were all over the place (and we actually saw them). It was Bioware who made it so special.

Multiplayer has six of them. There are also plenty off N7 weapons. It is not perfect, but there are N7.

I've been following Bioware for a few years now, and have come to the conclusion that their and EA's marketing department is incompetent when it comes to dealing with the fan base of IP's. There's a lot the devs could be talking about without discussing things which are subject to change.

yes... recently I noticed a lack of Mass Effect in the game industry... this is literally the only Western RPG/SCIFI game that I follow 100% of the time.

OFFTOPIC: Square Enix disappointed me with FF XV... 10 YEARS AND STILL NO RELEASE DATE HOLY BALLS.

Was hoping for much more from this padt E3, and we got next to noting. But since the game is a year and a half off, guess there isn't much more to show.

If I had the patience, I'd go link one of the many irate posts over in the DA:I forums about how Bioware "lied" to us because some feature seen in pre-alpha footage didn't make it into the final game.

But I am lazy and impatient. So instead, I'll just tell you all that those irrational and irate posters are why we can't have nice things.

Well, yes... but MP is an after thought from the main game.... I don't count it as representative of the story and N7 is all about the Mass Effect story.

Feel free to correct me on this. ^_^

I don't count multiplayer. That seems to have been an entirely different beast altogether (in many ways) from what I hear. In SP though, damn near none other than Shepard.

How long? I don't have forever to live! please I BEG YOU!!!! what the hell and you put up a video stating that you love fans "speculating"? COME ON IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS and you "LOVE" us speculating like crazy here you love our salty tears? son of a gun!!! please if anyone from BioWare is reading this after the ending that is of ME 3 I have been looking for a miracle for this franchise and all I got was Ghost Rider in the sky????!!! come on guys anything! My patience and interest is...

Yea, I have similar feelings.

Trailer they showed recently says nothing but "we are making something based on ME universe, but we don't know what exactly yet". That was the same as remainig silent about what are they doing... or maybe worse.

Dude, the game doesn't come out for a year and a half, at best (it'll probably end up being 2 years+ after the 2-3 mandatory push backs). Chill.

How exactly? still I think it depends on the devs. The way how I see it right now they are keeping less information about Mass Effect to avoid criticism, disappointment of fans who did not expect what they where expecting, or to avoid screwing up altogether.

Right now Mirror's Edge has more info than Mass Effect

Also about the "DRAGON AGE" issue about not including the "advertised" features presented earlier, I still think it is up to the devs to use or scrap it before release. This is why it is really advisable not to PREORDER GAMES EVER and wait for reviews or reactions in forums and Youtube To be fair I never got the chance to play DA:I or what the hell it is nor touch that franchise ever. But fans getting mad of last minute changes is IMHO irrelevant, what now they are going to condemn the devs for changing their own game which they have every right to do so? this is why no one should support PREORDERS. What they BioWare did with DA:I could either be mere PUFFERY or False advertising or just their "vision" of the future game.

Right now Mass Effect has none of those it is very very close for me branding it as vaporware but thankfully it isn't.

It kinda sounds like you don't know what vaporware is.
