Yeah Bioware! Bow down to plyer demand as we always appreciate that...oh wait we didn't appreciate them giving us the EC ending in ME3...why should they even care about demand's made by us again? As far as I see we've told them they can do no right and will never be right unless it's the game we thought they should've made and not the game they wanted to make. I know I know the ending forgot about the theme that seemed present in the earlier titles, but ME1, ME2, & ME3 all seemed like completely different game's that were only conaected by the bare minimum storywise to start with so not a big flaw overall.

My theory is that all of these "demands", "counter demands", supplications, angst may influence Bio into making minor game design or game tweaks
It's the entire trailer, actually. It shows fake cutscene without any meaning. Nothing story or gameplay related. Meaning they have nothing to show yet.

Hmm... I look at it from this point of view.
1. 13 months from now until Nov 2016 launch
2. 12 months from now and the game goes Gold. This allows time for PC media (CDs) to be stamped, boxed, artwork printed and delivered to brick and mortar stores in time for launch day.
3. 11 month from now there is no more development.. just a major debugging effort.
4. 6 months from now, Voice Over acting starts in earnest = 5 mo of work (depends on word budget)
5. 0 months from now, motion capture to allow cinematics, cut-scenes editing and animation to complete
6. Main story already fixed and approved.
7. 0 months from now, artists continue to customize planetary terrain
8. 0 months from now, artist are designing armours and weapons
9. 0 months from now, combat tests, level design and balance testing.
Somewhere in there we also have QA testing, MP testing, debugging...etc.
I really doubt the game is in its early stages, else I misunderstood your meaning of "early development".
They posted pictures of motion capturing for cutscenes back in March, so no I don't think they're in the early stages of development.
He is lieing though. He knows it will blow away minds and exceeds the wildest expectations and it will be the game of the decade.
Can't blame them for not showing anything.., everytime they do the forum lights up with posts of "how this is wrong" or "it should be like this or that" Very rarely they get praised for their hard work.
Cheers

Prolly around 4 is when QA testing will begin in earnest. IMHO, they have something new like a script, they send it to QA. QA sends it back with all the bugs, etc etc. But the 'real' QA testing should begin about then.

I'm thinking N7 day and Pax Prime as major ME:A events.
I'm thinking that PAX Prime will prolly have the biggest draw. Rather than us sitting around our computers on N7 day, with all of our significant others wondering what in the hell N7 day is and why we're wearing an N7 sweatshirt and a Normandy SR2 ballcap. Ya know, it's kind'a like May the Fourth be with you.
I get it, and I like it. It's just not for everybody.
Give up MP info. We will be ok with SP info. We can hold off on reading that cryfest until MP is shown.

Unless what they show is actual game footage, everything else is representative, meaning just eyecandy. Eyecandy is just fluff.... just like cotton candy. Take a bite and all you get is air. People don't like to be fooled.
I've noticed, though, many that like biting into air, for some reason.

I don't think they're worried about outside pressure so much as they want to wait and show more of the game when it's closer to a working product.

I think it's healthy to be realistic about what they can show, and since we didn't even know it would be set in Andromeda until 7-8 weeks ago I think a drip of info is just fine. I think over-deluging fans with info can backfire in the long run especially if there's still a lot of time before the game goes gold, everybody brings up Fallout 4 as a great example of showing a game but that would also just mean showing nothing until a year from now.
I hope for another progress blog. Doesn't have to be about much, maybe how the development for combat is going, or level design, perhaps character development and voice acting.
Or another video, Day in the life of again..
The topic's picture after all that 'excitement' lol love it you made me laugh. Maybe Bioware has lots to do with non-disclosure agreements. It keeps people guessing and makes the Mass Effect Universe full of nice surprises so our thoughts and feelings are more in sync with the protagonist. Connections. The suspense can both be killing you and making the characters and worlds more fun to exploit.

I think all games suffers from that. If they allow these nitwits to drag them down they too are nitwits for allowing the nitwits to drag them to the level of the nitwits themselves

Yes, some game studios have a Developers Log. Would be of interest to many, I'm sure, especially in level map testing or combat quirks.

Don't know if you're agreeing with me or being sarcastic...
But I just want something, and even if its just news about the progress of the game, I'll be happy!

I've always found them interesting.

I always love "the making of..." or progress reports. It keeps fans involved, engaged, and it shows what goes into making the game work. Like lately, BioWare has been posting videos (I believe 2 or 3 videos) of the audio team capturing sounds for DA:I and ME:A. That stuff is interesting to me. Reading the developer blogs (last one was on Jun 15 with official announcement trailer for ME:A), and now the dairy of one of the senior staff members of ME:A had a video about his daily routine.
So awesome! I can't wait for the next one.
Just post random pictures of stuff around the office as an update, Brojo. We won't know WTF it is but we'll get excited anyways. You guys need some small teasers or stuff on social media to keep the fans excited about the franchise. No big reveal is needed just something to keep it in people's minds.

Not here, since I live alone (not even a cat / dog) So no one can point and wonder how silly I look at home while watching E3 / N7 Day, etc
. But it's truth, N7D will be streamed and maybe it's best to show the game (or rather talk about it) on PAX. At the same time N7D is N7D, they have to show something. At least a couple more of concepts and talk about some features.
My memory is failing miserably, was 2014 PAX when they gave that conference thingy and talked vaguely about ME:A (ME "untitled" back then)?
It's true, I've been doing a lot of fake QA testing for quite awhile now.
come-on man no news?
come-on man no news?
I'm not able to be much of a news bringer, but the whole team is pretty heads-down working hard on the game lately. Busy busy!
