Stupid buggy game, doesn't help it keeps crashing all the time whenever I alt tab for whatever reason. The option to reset all powers is missing I can only change my bonus power.

All I know is if I remember right it costs a certain amount of material to open a ability to reset powers. However you do get one freebie though.
It's odd that when you use your freebie the game crashes. I admit patches fix and create new problems. I am still like WTF with the shepard miranda conversation when doing Miranda's loyalty mission after she and your shepard is done talking to the contact. When i first got the game Miranda and Shepard look at each other when having the conversations. A few patches later Miranda now looks away from shepard and talks. lol.

Yeah I've experienced that too even rarely in ME3 where characters heads just go all Exorcist on me and I'm just like BioWare plz.
I ended up just being lazy and using gibbed's editor to reset my points.
