Has anyone ever figured out the focus gain from it? I might bump it up from a "I have nothing better to get I suppose" to "I've got the core stuff so I'll go ahead and grab it" if it's at all substantial.
Focused teamwork.

I don't waste a skill point on it, sorry.

It's amazing that there is still no documentation on this.
What is still more amazing is that there is no documentation on damage, status or instant death effect in-game or on the wiki for Mark of the Rift itself. That tree is so unnecessarily opaque.

Whenever I play as a DW rogue I take it, but only because by the time I get to the end of the game on a completionist run I have nothing else I want to take that isn't already upgraded. So I take it because the point is sitting there asking me to use it. But otherwise, no, I don't use it. Certainly don't waste it when I play mage because there are so many better things I could be using my points on. I also don't notice any difference in how fast I get focus. Every time I turn around everyone is full and I'm all "oh, Cassandra, rally the heck up" or whatever..

It's a good skill for a "tank" Inquisitor with 70+% stagger on being hit. Then you can simply set focus skills on high priority for everyone in the party and be completely unstoppable.
