Heya everyone,

 

I just got an awesome Bitter Axe and some good gear for my Legionnaire but I never really played him. Anyone have builds they use to solo perilous with? Or a good group build for nightmare?

Hmm the cookie cutter build is good for solo in peri and team in NM. You just need shield bash, so lvl 3 to go in perilous.

 

It's shield bash, counterstrike and walking fortress. Last skills depends on what you prefer : payback strike or to the death.

As long as you pick up all the armor passives and one of the guard passives, you're good to go.

In addition, I'd say Payback Strike is pretty important (especially solo) to recover from stuns and knockowns...

Also just for doing AOE damage and crowd control. Since we're talking about solo. He's my strongest soloer, though I can only solo routine.

Don't know about solo builds because this is a multiplayer game but for Nightmare is use the following build:

I think level 17 is required for this build. Beyond it nets you either armor/guard bonus and/or the war cry upgrade. Completely focused on tanking the other group members can focus on damage. Usually i run in, use counterstrike to taunt everything followed by walking fortress to regain cooldown and build guard. In between I use war cry to regain enemy focus and to the death on big enemies prioritized. Works very well on the castle map since there are a lot of enemies that reduce your counterstrike cooldown either via critical hits or walking fortress. Using this build you're almost impossible to kill, The disadvantage is the low damage output though.

Shield Bash to wipe guard and knockdown. Shield Wall to block and attack cancel. Counterstrike to pull aggro and max guard and TTD for fast guard and kills
