Not really sure where to post this, figured I'd do it here. First off let me say that I completely enjoy Mass Effect 2, and it's just another reason why BioWare makes the best games. Just too bad EA had to get their claws in you, and I'm sure make you do this absolutely ridiculous method for getting DLC when XBoX Live has had a perfectly working method for years.
The e-mail I use for my gamertag, EA, and this site are all the same. I never use any other e-mail. Yesterday I find out that I can't get any of my DLC aside from my Dragon Age Blood Armor, which again is bound to the same e-mail. On the EA site I have a persona labeled Dragon Age, which I assume is the one created when I used my EA account for Dragon Age for it's DLC. Yet ME2 apparently thinks that I am using some other e-mail or account, and will not let me download anything else. Which is odd, since it does let me download the Blood Armor.
I contacted EA about this, and have yet to get a reply. I know they are probably swarmed with e-mails just like mine, but that just goes to show how incredibly stupid it is to do DLC this way. Use the given XBoX Live method. Don't try and reinvent the wheel, so to speak.
Despite all of that, I am enjoying ME2 as it is. I just hope I can eventually get the 3 armor sets and mission that I paid extra for. Perhaps by my next play through.
Thoughts on the whole DLC thing.
