Well, I think bioware decides what is ban worthy. And for this exploit, they said they will ban, multiple times. So there goes that argument.

And I think they will only ban the heavy exploiter. Accidentally joining a 4.5x exp lobby then leaving after the first game wont get you in trouble. Nobody would be calling for your head for that. Its those guys that admit to cheating outright on the forums or who jumps up 100 promotions a week that will need to be banned.

We've been as transparent as you can get.

 

Exploiters will be investigated, banned if we deem necessary.

You still haven't explained how you will differentiate between genuine accidents and cheaters. Since your games networking is an absolute abomination, its incredibly easy to accidentally bug your game, since its caused by somone disconnecting or leaving the lobby at the wrong time, which is often completely beyond the players control.

 

Ill personally buy a new copy of DAI and preorder a copy of the next Mass Effect game for any exploiter (and there are LOTS on this forum) who can prove they were banned for exploiting. Im that confident that no bans will ever take place.

In the sentencing hearing that is courthouse of BSN, of course Bioware is the ultimate judge. However, as there are plenty of voices arguing for the prosecution/Crown, I thought it'd be fun to present some submissions for the defense
