wireless.   I mean bluetooth, but I always say blueray.  I don't know why.

It has something to do with host migration, so a lobby can actually get glitched by accident.

There is a wireless headset you can buy. I just hate it because it's a big, giant, cover-your-damn-ears thing rather than the nice in-one-ear piece I had for PS3.

WHOA!  That's what I want.  I have to have surround sound when I play.  I'm spoiled.  When my headsets have broken before I won't even play games until my replacement gets here.  Even when playing co op games the sound quality and the bass and stuff....give it up.

 

Are you sure the wireless part works and its just not compatable with it if you plug it in?  Do you know the name of it?  I used to love corded mics, but over time the wires always come loose and they stop working.  Never again.

I call bs  i wont say exactly how it happens out of respect to the support team but it does indeed happen very easy as no ones fault
 
Either you know how to do it and you can defend your statement or you dont and should keep your opinion to yourself

Sorry but your statement is not 100% correct. For one someone posted a vid on the forum supposedly showing how to do it. I have also been in a party with someone and a person on their friends list jumped into the party, someone I did not know and immediately they were trying to teach us how to do the glitch. There are some players who know how to do it and have been honest that they know and that they told others. This is not a national secret anymore, and to your first point yes it's easy to have happen on accident, but its also easy to create a new lobby or leave after 1 game if you didn't want to participate. 
 
I feel bad for players that have a harder time matchmaking and need to pug more which exposes them to the glitch, but there are several players with dedicated friends that use the glitch and could easily avoid it. It's your choice, but repercussions for your actions are also a part of that choice. Not in favor of banning bunch of people, but if someone gets banned then obviously BioWare deemed they abused the glitch, and that is their right since it's their game. You don't get to run on the field in sports just because you bought a ticket...at least not without consequences. lol

That depends.  What is next gen?  Is that crap games, 500gb HD, and no blueray support for mics?  If that's "next gen" nah.  Not impressed.

I can't answer that question without telling you exactly how the glitch is caused. But I'm actually pretty sure that in that case the glitch was caused by accident.

 

I know how it's deliberately caused (thanks to some vid)  ; just odd to have it happen in an empty lobby I got dropped into.  I agree that accidental occurrence is a rarity.

Yes. It comes with a little reader to plug into one of the USB ports so the headset can work.

 

Which is why my old PS3 bluetooth is on the shelf.

All you can reasonably do is wait and see what happens with the next patch. While I do agree that people need to shut up about it and its not that serious (there are like 12 threads on this already) and thinking along that line, If we are on the path of honestly......

 

You do come across like someone who has done the "trick" mercilessly and the closer you get to a possible punishment for doing so the more irritated you get and you want people to shut up about it.

 

Like I said, I agree with a lot of what you say, but you do come off that way. It may just be a bi product of trolling.

Why does it bother you so much that people actually want a response and communication from the devs about issues that affect the game?

 

If you see a thread topic about an issue you don't care about, instead of coming in and crying and stomping your feet... why not just pass it by instead? Is your ego that fragile that you cannot handle people caring about things you don't care about?

I downloaded 4 new games today to which i might add none made by bioware  im so over this

As an elitist, Leaderboards sucker who likes being on the moral highground of things, I can't wait for some Inquisition-esque witchhunting Ban Waves to start taking place. It is high time BW/EA put their money where their mouths are in regards to ToS breaching.
