just food for thought but if every one is in a double EXP lobby then doesn't that mean nothing really changed from a normal lobby , I mean think about it if every one is doing it then there is no unfair advantage...... it means that if you choose not to do it that on you Q.o?  I mean if we all get 2x exp then nothing changes ? if every one is doing it....things just shifted to the right of the scale.... but those who play more will get more just the same  *shrugs* not saying its right or wrong just a random though

People getting more powerful in general is gonna make PUGs easier to grind with.

 

I am all for high stats at this dreary point, since the game pretty much forces you to have high stats in order to play the highest difficult levels with the classes we want to play. That being said, stats should be earned through dedication, not deliberately glitched by punks.

 

Its pathetic how exploiters try to defend themselves with trolling.

I wouldn't say its an ethical or moral question ... this is a video game its not pvp orientated and you get nothing for being ranked, besides bragging rights and a pat on the back. people say ethics and morality and I think like, wow is this really on the same level as stealing or robbing some one or finding a bag full of money and keeping it. No....No, it is not at all like that. I have put in massive amounts of hours into this game and I play it religiously every day.... but you want to hear the honest truth.... at some point you look at all the time spent and you have to make a choice.... you just stare of and you wounder and realize.... what the heck am I still playing, what the freaking frack am I doing? then it dawn  on ya...... you love the game you have a lot of fun meeting people, and having those awesome funny conversations with all types of people..... and that's what its all about....   every one needs to push the B.S. aside and look at it for what it is,  its just a game....an awesome game, yeah it has its problems and hang ups, but it is just memorizing for some of us....... ethics morals.... they have as much of a place her as it does on a play ground with a bunch of 5 year old's..... we are all playing to have fun... and that's the simplistic truth..... Idk if any one out there has as many hours in the game as I do... but that's the realization you come to...... I look at every one on this forum new and old casual and hard core and I think..... with all the fussing and the complaining....are you... honestly going to be here playing this game for the long hall 6,8,10, 12 months from now.... I know I am.....yeah I say I''m the god of damp... and I feel like I'm just going to watch a lot of you fade into dust..... so I ask you.... with all your gripping..

for xbox one there have been 4  long term ranked number one players.... in order... (names maybe spelled wrong, hell most likely are spelled wrong lol) renistil, silverisking,bruder, and myself... and you know what, they all left because they have all been confronted with what I have just talked about above..... they all left the game after hitting the top...and the difference between all of them and me is..... I truly love this game, maybe not entirely for the game play but because of the people that I me, the people that I help, and the feeling that I get from know that I helped add something to this game...regardless of how small or fickle it maybe... .

many people have popped into my stream and thanked me, I have brought people to this game, many people have stated that they got the game after watching my stream, I have helped many many people on xbox one, while I do have a bad rep you could say for every one person that says I am crap I got 8 more standing up for me or parsing me, thats why as Mac miller says "Hey you what you mean you cant get nothing from me you was talking bull now I am someone you  would wanna be, I'mma do my thing until the day the reaper comes for me, you can keep on grilling I'mma smile back smile back" (  edited profanity for forum compliance)

I play because I have fun with my friends; I will be here till the end (end=ME:A) or until I still have my friend playing this game; My friends motivate me; What is really important about this game are my friends and the fun time we have.

I am #1 on PC, and I have been so for a few weeks or a few months. I can't recall exactly since when, it doesn't matter much to me. Does it feel good? Yeah, sure. It is nice to see that my passion and dedication for the game has awarded me some sort of temporary distinction. But you know what sucks? Two local Brazilian friends (both ranked) who play with me regularly telling me that they are leaving the game for good because they can't keep up with cheaters who have diminished all their hours played and commitment for the game. I don't know How or If you tolerate cheaters, but I don't. 

My views in threads like this one are of adamant disapproval towards cheating. I may give the impression of having a super-massive Leaderboards-feed ego, but hey, what can be said about the many who have cheated their way to get there/climb up positions in the first place? That is some food for thought

Respect man ....  I just play the game.... I am not going to alienate any one, I play with any one and everyone regardless of there stats  or time played...(to a point) I careless either way......I just want to have a good time  and have fun with my friends and make some new ones along the way... I am so far ahead of any one I just play... this games helped me deal with so much as it is ... truthfully this game helps me deal with my PTSD.... so I am very grateful to all the devs and the damp team for all that they have doe and making what is in my opinion one of the greatest xboxone games so far with in its genera

I agree with you 100%, but the real question is at what point "dedication" becomes too much?

I played DAIMP about 840 hours now, that's freaking huge! For that "dedication", I got 60 Constitution, 103 Willpower and 104 Cunning. I'm barely past 55% of the defense caps in average. How is that not insane? 840 hours, I'm not even close to max!!!

The "dedication" expected from players is ridiculous, I can hardly blame some people from trying everything they can to get there...

Another thing to consider, all the good stuff is available only on the higher difficulty levels. And the only way to actually excel in those difficulties is to have high stats and high gear. I understand the "effort -> reward" system, but the scale is heavily tipped on the "effort" side. Don't you think it should be a little bit easier for people that don't have an enormous amount of time on their hands? I mean, I know I have nothing else to do but play, but even I find 800+ hours is WAY WAY WAY too much. How much time does it require to actually max at 80% defense?!?!?!?! For comparison, I maxed my ME3MP manifest after about 400 hours and I still played the game another 600+ hours after that point just because it was fun. DAIMP shouldn't need that much "grind" or is Bioware afraid we'll all quit when we max? Don't get me wrong, the game is a blast to play, but nothing justify that amount of "dedication", absolutely nothing...

People joining now don't even have a hope of making it on the leaderboards anyway, and Fidzy already stated they aren't resetting the leaderboards, period.

What amuse me the most is that all Leaderboard scores are miscalculated to begin with. Even for people that aren't on the Leaderboards...

If you take the number of challenges you completed and add the total promotions you did, it won't equal your Leaderboard score. Oh and by the way, you're being screwed big time...

So technically, people are arguing about a list that has not a single valid number on it... And all they talk about are the names on that list...

I have to say your wrong that nothing justifes this..... I play so much that some times I dream I am playing the game, which is a godsend next to night terrors about Afghanistan and military related shaat
