@Hanako Ikezawa@shodiswe: I wasn't insulting or condescending towards you, so it would be nice for you to return the courtesy. I would reply, since I love talking about this stuff since despite what you think I know a lot about physics, but 1) this is offtopic, and 2) I don't reply to people when they're jerks. Good day to you.
*Short summary: You claimed that the technology to radiate heat and energy doesn't exist and that it's an unknown physics phenomenon in Shepard's time. My answer is then, you can't know a great deal about physics. If as you claim, you do know a lot about physics, then I must assume you were trolling me.* Which is better?
It was the part where you said, "We don't have that level of tech in the events of the Shepard Trilogy." that was getting me rally got me going. That's the worst reply I've ever seen when a solution is given, and I've seen it before so it seemed more like Trolling to me. Is it a convenient solution? No, it's more like when Christopher Columbus and other early explorers tried to cross the Atlantic and lost a few ships along the way.
It's not been done before that point and will be a challenge, but not impossible. There is a difference between the way people traveled back then and how people book a flight and siping champagne and take a nap Before reaching the otherside of the Atlantic a few hours later.
Maybe a they will get more powerful Tech in the future, but at the time prior to the Reaper war they would have had to build slow ships that discharge several times on the way over to Andromeda and keep people in Cryo. a Few millenia after Mass Effect Andromeda and there might be a Relay linking the Galaxies and people will be sipping Champagne or equivalents on the trip over.
But right now, the Technological solutions to overcome the ME1 and ME2 Technical difficulties of traveling to other Galaxies exists, centuries Before that time. IT will however take a lot of Resources and affort and time and won't be safe or convenient.
As for Vega, he probably didn't go since he was there til the end of the Reaper threat, even if Harbingers beam killed him or not. I don't see the point of going to Andromeda like that once the Reapers are gone. Unless the Milky way has been fully explored and people are dying for Resources and living space.
