@shodiswe: I wasn't insulting or condescending towards you, so it would be nice for you to return the courtesy. I would reply, since I love talking about this stuff since despite what you think I know a lot about physics, but 1) this is offtopic, and 2) I don't reply to people when they're jerks. Good day to you.

@Hanako Ikezawa

*Short summary: You claimed that the technology to radiate heat and energy doesn't exist and that it's an unknown physics phenomenon in Shepard's time. My answer is then, you can't know a great deal about physics. If as you claim, you do know a lot about physics, then I must assume you were trolling me.* Which is better?

It was the part where you said, "We don't have that level of tech in the events of the Shepard Trilogy." that was getting me rally got me going. That's the worst reply I've ever seen when a solution is given, and I've seen it before so it seemed more like Trolling to me. Is it a convenient solution? No, it's more like when Christopher Columbus and other early explorers tried to cross the Atlantic and lost a few ships along the way.

It's not been done before that point and will be a challenge, but not impossible. There is a difference between the way people traveled back then and how people book a flight and siping champagne and take a nap Before reaching the otherside of the Atlantic a few hours later.

Maybe a they will get more powerful Tech in the future, but at the time prior to the Reaper war they would have had to build slow ships that discharge several times on the way over to Andromeda and keep people in Cryo. a Few millenia after Mass Effect Andromeda and there might be a Relay linking the Galaxies and people will be sipping Champagne or equivalents on the trip over.

But right now, the Technological solutions to overcome the ME1 and ME2 Technical difficulties of traveling to other Galaxies exists, centuries Before that time. IT will however take a lot of Resources and affort and time and won't be safe or convenient.

As for Vega, he probably didn't go since he was there til the end of the Reaper threat, even if Harbingers beam killed him or not. I don't see the point of going to Andromeda like that once the Reapers are gone. Unless the Milky way has been fully explored and people are dying for Resources and living space.

I wouldn't object to BioWare using FPJr. again.

yeah he definetely plays the tough guy role within the grup well He may make a good voice actor even for the protagonist but it may depend on what kind of protagonist options that MEA has. I wouldn't count on it happening but I'd say it would be an interesting thought.

If there are any of the previous ME main characters in Andromeda it will probably be either Liara(since asaris live a long time) or EDI(She could probably live on forever being an AI). I just hope they don't have some sort of time travel plot just so they can bring older characters into the story just for the sake of nostalgic fans

The same for Garrus and Tali, but they were on the squad

Could they die? I thought there was a hierarchy of who could die and they weren't even on the list.

Yes they can die in ME2 during the suicide mission. Tali doesn't have to be recruited in ME2

That is interesting. I thought Garrus had to make it. So then what happened in 3 if he was whacked?

Nothing much. His cutscenes don't happen or another character fills the role. For example if Garrus isn't there, it's Samantha who comforts Shepard after Tuchanka.

SHE DOES A LITTLE MORE THAN THAT.

Nothing changes if Garrus isn't in ME3. If the other ME2 squadmates are not in ME3, the player will lose out on some war assets

If playing as femshep, Traynor checks out femshep

So it is just generic Turian solider leading you about on Palavan's moon?

I've got something to try now in ME2...and I thought I'd had a bloodbath ending.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Cerberus made two clone Sheps to harvest for organs while repairing Shep or something, Shep was revived and killed one...but the other was taken by the Alliance aaaand....dun dun dunnnnnnnn he is the protagonist for Andromeda???

What a lovely troll that would be on certain people here (you know who you are). Bioware: "oh, you want Shepard to return that bad, huh? Haha here, have his carbon copy who is nothing like him in personality".

****Spoiler below*********

I do not literally support this horrendous idea.

True. I was thinking of the maleShep version when I posted.

No, it's just you, Liara, and James. The person who goes back doesn't, and the general at the first base camp you land at tells you where Victus is.

Nope. Liara will stay on the moon and have the same dialogue that Garrus would've had, but at the end will mention her homeworld

Bloodbath? Hahaha. This is a bloodbath. Excellent.

Tali can be killed quite easily if you do a mistake or if you want to. She´s also number 2 on the kill list for Hold the Line.

If ME3 never happened, Vega wouldn't ever had been asked.  Vega is a grunt.

As much as I would like it to be true I think it's pretty unlikely that the person from the trailer is him.

Eh, Vega's good enough to serve on Shepard's squad and had a fairly impressive service record before that. Enough to be considered N7 material.

I don't imagine that the recruitment policy for whatever project gets us to Andromeda is going to have such ridiculously high standards that Vega wouldn't qualify.

Still don't think he's going to make it for no other reason than that he seems like a really odd choice to be the connective tissue between the trilogies.

You mean asked to join N7? He was asked right before the Reaper's arrived. He says he got the message late because of the attack on Earth. He was already on the Brass' radar because of his prior heroics.

If its him, then I demand a romance option XD

I would rather leave the poor guy alone after being date rape by Femshep, forcing him to drink to cloud his judgment while he's clearly uncomfortable with the idea and has clear reservation about Shepard being his boss.
