Hi there, I took notice recently that I get really bad loot, and to my knowledge considering I have a 250k gold spent my chest score should be quite high (if not maxed) but I still, I keep getting these level 13 uniques at best and even worse level 8 grays and blues not to mention no decent accesories whatsoever, now I recently invited a friend to play with me because of the trial thing and he's been getting level 20 purples and things like that even though he just started playing the game and doesnt have nearly as much chest score as me, so I'm asking you is something bugged here? do I just have bad luck? or the new 2k chests are just bad for everyone? let me know what the hell is going on ><

Good old rng. I'm at a million spent and I get level 13-15 uniques all the time. But you get what you need eventually. Can't always get what you want.

It's rng...it definitely has its ups and downs. After a long dry spell, I finally got some good stuff. Like the old saying goes, a watched pot never boils. When you least expect it, you will get something good.

Your item score is nowhere near maxed.

Lol if you think 250k is maxed then you better keep spending. I'd give details on how it goes up but I already had 2m doesn't before the patch.

I just remembered an earlier post that someone said that 250k is max, but do tell me what is the max item score please

Max item score is 10k collected through bought, rewarded and treasure room chests.
250k = 1k items.
Avg run = 2 items.
Challenges complete = 5 items.
At a guess I would say your round the 1500 mark.
I would also guess the next tier would be at 2k.

Your friend got lucky. Poor DragonRacer has entire threads dedicated to the fact that after 9.5 months she still doesn't have a 10% HoK ring.
RNG can be very cruel.

Same here... For all the times I been playing this game, I never got a single HoK ring at all... Not even a blank one.

Do I understand from this thread that your chances to get better loot from chests go up when you have looted/spend more gold? I'm at something like 223k looted (and spend it all) and only get crap loot (good for salvaging though). I just play for the fun of it, but part of the fun is to get a nice shiney new item every now and then. 
Is there any official statement about this? (Couldn't find it myself). 

And yes I know, I still have to offer my newborns to the RNG gods to get a shot at better lewt

No.  You chances to get better loot from chests go up when you have looted more items.

 

Of course, looting/spending gold on chests will also result in you having looted more items...but items from treasure room chests or dragon drops do count too.

after 9 months and many promotions   I dont have a SHOK ring either either
