Because I have no idea why someone would not fix this. It's blatantly obvious. This really just comes off as lazy to me...

Before this one, I would have said "yes."
Now, I'm not so sure, but I'm equally flabbergasted that this passed muster. Especially considering they had a few weeks to fix it after it leaked early.
I'm not sure what i'm looking at. Is there a penis hidden somewhere?

Two weeks, to be precise. The thread about bugs appeared the day it leaked. And stayed on front page all the time.
But yeah, Bull is the most ridiculous of them all. I posted pics of this some time ago in SotQ bug thread.
In this case I would say no. They didn't check it. Or didn't pay enough attention while checking ![]()

I've been railing about these DLCs (I think they're a giant rip off compared to past item packs in other games), but if these weren't broken, I'd probably get them for my nascent qunari run (considering they've got like, nothing to wear).
The lack of quality is baffling and disappointing, though. I hope they get a fix.
I'm thinking this might be a glitch in the latest patch, not the spoils of the Qunari item pack. Cus I just went through the closure of the Breach on my 2nd playthrough (the last time I did this part being sometime back in December of last year) and Cassandra, in armor that had been fine in all scenes up to that point, was suddenly transparent at the neck and arm junctures, just like Bull is at his neck here. Next cutscene, she was back to being fine again. I haven't bought any of the Spoils DLCs.
I know these pictures are on the landscape and not in a cutscene, but its all rendered in real time, so I think it would still apply.
It's very likely that the QA folks found and logged the issues, but dev management put them on the C list (low priority) or waved them never planning to fix them.
Pretty sad, really, since it's not free content.

Yeah, I'm sure QA caught them. The fact that the devs opted not to fix them and release a shitty product instead is what's really galling imo. Especially as most of the bugs disproportionately affect the Qunari themselves even though this item pack is geared specifically toward Qunari (which they're making you pay for as Qunari don't have much armor they can wear in the first place). This DLC is scummy on so many levels. I honestly can't remember when I've had so little respect for a Bioware product.

Now that you mention it I've played IYHSB for the first time since patch 8 came out... and Cass' arms were detached during Breach closing cutscene. I've played this quest many times and this was the first time I've noticed something like that.
Nah, IB is just so obvious, you can see right through him...
I had armour with similar problems, but around the waist, in the main game.
Yeah, the various "coat" models often stop at the belt line, leaving a large gap between the coat's belt and the top of the pants. This is especially evident in cutscenes. My theory is that the camera is positioned inside the "box" and the entire section doesn't render. Of course, that does not explain what's going on with the qunari armor on Iron Bull...
You know, this armor was intended for qunari, but that's where it has the most issues.
A terrible bug.
What is more terrible is that I haven't found any official explanation on this.
PS: The Katari in MP also meets this bug when he wears the Arishok armor.

So its not just me then. I definitely know it didn't happen the first time I played through. I would have noticed. Her shoulder and neck are right in your face at one point.
You also experiencing characters freezing mid-combat and the only way to get them to move again is to use an ability? That was something that hadn't happened to me in my first playthrough either, but its happened like crazy in this one(and its a Nightmare run, of course.
). This one is all post-patch 8. I'd messed around in my first playthrough files since launch till about patch 6.

Freezing started appearing after patch 7, so it's there for quite a while.
But yes, I'm also experiencing this. Mostly with Cass.

Ah, got it, thanks. Looked like a normal reflection on my shitty laptop screen.
I don't mean to sound rude, and I don't want to start a war, but if people stopped buying these DLCs, maybe -fill this with BioWare, EA, devs, illuminati or whatever you think it's the most appropriate- would put more attention (and respect) in what they give to their customers.
Wow, so glad with your responses guys, thought I was the only one who cared since I haven't seen threads like these before.
Also the flaps at the bottom of that outfit aren't rigged, they're like stuck on his legs. Ugh. These issues really break the immersion for me to be honest, it's very disappointing and I have no idea how to let the devs see this. Could someone tweet them the pic?
There are certain armors in the game that when put on the right character produces the same results.

The devs already know, the few left working on the game at any rate.

You don't need to use an ability (which may be in cooldown, or out of mana/stamina). Jump will do, and always works. Whenever I notice a frozen companion (usually the tank, but my support mage has frozen on me too) I go to tactical cam, switch to the statue, leave tac-cam, jump, quickly back to tac-cam, reselect my inquisitor, and resume as normal. This gets things moving again with the least impact on the proceedings.
