so iv stopped playing since around march of 2015 any new noticeably things to story like major things? is it worth picking up and beating again?

There was a new story DLC that released in May entitled The Jaws of Hakkon, which introduces a bunch of lore about the Avvar and explores the story of the First Inquisitor.

 

 

Nothing else story-wise, though there was a patch that introduced the Black Emporium. Something else should be coming down soon.
