With the news that there are no plans to release re-mastered Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 for the PS4, and the new Mass Effect game being for PS4 and PC only, what is the future of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer? I shudder to think that once Andromeda is released, the servers being used for ME3 MP will be switched to the anticipated multiplayer format for the PS4, and those of us that are loyal ME3 players will be pushed off to the nether regions of space.
Is anyone else concerned about this? Some of my friends cannot afford the PS4, and even though I have one, I am disappointed that no remastered issues will be out. Switching consoles to play my favorite game is not impossible, but I certainly will be upset that the original series is being shelved. Paranoid as it sounds, after seeing what is happening with no recent updates or maps for ME3 MP, I wonder if we are going to be dinosaurs in 2017, and ME3 MP only a distant memory. There are so many other places that we could fight the enemy, but they haven't been used. The Presidium, C-Sec HQ, Rannoch, the list goes on, but no real updates have been done now that Andromeda is in the race.
What do you think?
