Ok, one more bug thread.  Over the weekend met a giant who broke the rules of gaming and entered an off limits zone.  I told it that BW might ban it for exploiting, and it just laughed and called it "an interesting use of game mechanics so go f*** yourself.  BW no ban me.  You see.  No ban me." 

 

This is Elven Ruins, Destruction map.  As you can see in zone 1 the giant manages to jump into a hole, an area where players cannot go.  I haven't seen any enemy do this so far, so this was pretty funny.  We were able to shoot at the giant from above though and moved on.  BW, just bringing this up in case Blar and Billy did something else to break the game (it couldn't be Bluke right!?).

Wish I recorded mine. On Ferelden Castle, Zone 1, the giant was in his usual location (above the second set of stairs toward the bridge) and he attempted a jumping smash attack on the Ventatori at his feet. He must have clipped into the walkway above the stairs because he then slid up to the very top of that broken tower to the left.

 

After clearing out the venatori we went back to him by shooting arrows and magical blasts at his feet. Growing frustrated, he attempted a long range jumping smash and instantly killed himself when he landed. I was in tears from laughing.

 

So I guess fall damage works on even giants.

Some days ago on FC, Zone 3, The giant was on the stairs with the hole. We fought him a little, he went onto his knees aaaand then started to slide to the hole (like he was on a moving walkway) and fell into the hole.

 

Would've recorded it if I'd know how.

If you're on XBox1 and have Kinect hooked up say "Xbox record that," and it will record the previous 30secs.  Or, double tap the main X button to bring up the snapshot/vid cap menu (hit Y for pic, X for vid cap).  After that go to Game DVR, edit the file (trim as need be) and then upload to Upload Studio (and optionally to OneDrive).

 

As for PC and PS4, others can assist with that.

had a similar situation, the giant decided to climb up the tree and then try to jump into the hole.  He missed, we didn't stood around for a bit, then shrugged and walked away.

You don't have to, but Microsoft is offering Windows 10 to anyone who has Windows 7 or 8 free of charge. I haven't done it yet, but it's good to know that's an option without investment.

Over? It's only just started friend!

 

You have the next ~358 days to do the upgrade. If you do it within that periode, Windows 10 will be yours to keep for as long as your PC is alive.

Yep, ongoing.  I have reserved, but when I went to upgrade MS msg said "we're doing this in waves, and we'll let you know when you can upgrade."

You can just downloade the upgrade installer if you can't be arsed to wait around for it to happen automatically.

 

I did, worked fine https://www.microsof...nload/windows10 is the english version, you can replace the en-us part of the link to get your local language instead.
