In my opinion, the only good thing about the trailer is the music. It reminds me of Fable.

Fable was my first thought as well.

Looks another pointless open world area with no quest worth while to do from that trailer.

*snip*
ironically we've fought more as the Inquisitor and Hawke than the Warden at this point. *snip*

 You clearly ran into waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more Darkspawn than I did.

Wish they had shown us visiting Orzammar or some other dwarven city in the trailer. That would have caught my eye.

would be interesting as long as it isn't a second Val Royeaux. I'd love to visit a large city with people who actually talk and give you side quests.

New abilities? potions? grenades? tonics?

Where? Where?

Just weapons and armors? no!

Shhh. This is the thread of rainbows. You can't have negative opinions. Here you can only say what other people want to hear.

If you wanna take people's comments out of context I guess

Well, I prefer to live in world of rainbows than that of black-and-white thinking and false dichotomies.

Excluding the Elder One, darkspawn can be encountered on the Storm Coast, the Western Approach, Emprise Du Lion and in Valammar.

Because there are only three models associated with darkspawn, their usefulness as enemies are limited.

I'm glad to see they're re-introducing genlocks, shrieks, ogres and emissaries into the mix again.

I am negativity incarnate but Bioware have to be supernaturally awful to spoil this DLC, Darkspawn, Dwarves, Ancient Secrets and Diabl1sque dungeon? Seriously, they can just quit if they screw this.

Or we can just stop speaking altogether. I'm not changing my opinion, and I won't censor it because some people don't like to hear it. And I wager it goes the same way for you guys.

See this tear rolling down my cheek? I'm shedding it at the thought of never hearing from you again.

Of course you can, but if it's rather speculative, don't be surprised if it gets a little push back  ;) .

If the DLC does suck (yet be proved) then you will quickly find yourself in the majority.

We'll know in 5 days.

You can have your opinion but it's really just a baseless assumption from a 2 min trailer

Well, they said the same thing about Colonial Marines.

I'll just wait my time. There is no point in bickering about it anyway.

It's not about the opinion - it's how you voice it and how absolutist you are in your judgement in face of very little evidence.

You may dislike the DLC for what it appears to be, be it from trailer or devs tweets (we know it's not a post-epilogue story), but instead of saying things like "this DLC likely won't appeal to me", you immediately jump to a conclusion that it can't be anything than a mediocre dungeon crawl and that it will offer nothing whatsoever in terms of fleshing-out story or lore - an opinion that is pretty much entirely unjustified at the moment.

Maybe we get to take Bianca along and SHE dies. I'd be okay with that.

Probably not for the same reason as Varric. Do this before finishing one of the post Haven story beats and Varric's personal quest goes to pot.

It was never established that he only had that ability, since it makes sense for all the Magisters to have it similar to the Archdemon

Corypheus never displayed any of the Architect's abilities, such as speeding the Taint. There's no reason they all have to be the same. And there was no setup for it.

Oh look, another darkspawn DLC. Featuring Bioware trademark silent companions, I can't wait.

I doubt that, considering JoH had a number of situational banters.

Also, the DA team hasn't made a SP DLC or expansion with no story so far, and I don't expect them to change that now, given that people don't buy their games, as a rule, because they find the combat so impressive.

The DA team didn't make this DLC.

According to the tweets the Austin team worked with the primary DA team.

Having one same ability doesn't make them all the same

The Architect and Corypheus are already vastly different from each other

Well, the dlc looks like fun to me and I intend to buy it and enjoy it. I'm really curious about what we will find down there in the Deep Roads. Plus, I want to see if that ogre is strong enough to pick up Iron Bull and punch him...that battle alone is worth the purchase price. :P

No, according to the messages, most of the work (even the writing) was done by the Austin studio.

That they coordinated with BioWare doesn't change who made it.
