I'm talking about the pc versions. The only thing that waas really off on the pc version was the camera. Other then that the only thing control wise that was off sums up to be "not like dao or da2."

The worst thing is that there is no option to order you companions to move to a position without entering tactical camera. This is driving me insane.

The second worst thing is that you cannot reliably ask them to hold position. Especially true for archer rogues, who have an INFURIATING habit to move forward as they shoot, going out of range requirements for the Long Shot and getting into melee in extreme situations.

Always a pleasure when you suddenly see your mages healthbar vanish in two seconds because he decided to stand right in front of the dragon/giant.

I am nervous about this DLC.  It sounds like it'll be another combat focused dlc.  I really want more companion content  than another slugfest.  sigh..  I'll still be getting the Descent though.  I'm a huge fan of the series, and Dragon Age Inquisition is my favorite game yet.  Hoping against hope there's some decent companion interactions.

When you say "combat-focused," what do you mean? Because roughly 95 per cent of the quests across the Dragon Age series involve combat.

My guess is them saying combat over story which is always strange to me for people to say that over a small trailer

It was story heavy though (Though its too soon to assume this one won't be)

Eh, I found the story weak myself, but mostly because it focused on BioWARE's weakest character, and the yahg were pathetic.

I mean what it sounds like.  I would prefer the dlc to have story and companion content, not just non-stop battle sequences.  Right now it looks like it'll be just a dungeon and leaves little expectations of much else but combat with a few quick story scenes.

I'm hoping there will be a new camp area maybe were we can talk to our companions and love interests.  One that preferably is more alive then the post game Skyhold would be a great change of pace for example.  It just doesn't seem likely that any of that will come to pass.

Seems far more likely it'll be like the Omga DLC in Mass Effect 3-big exciting quest with a linear path, and after you are done you can't return.  Either way I'm excited for new content and to see what goes on.   :alien:

Nice to see new stuff on DAI. And Dwarves yes!!

I recently buy JoH with the 30% discount, and im gonna wait for this dlc to start a new playtrough. If the reviews are not what i expected, then i will wait until the next sale offer.

That 2nd one does not happen to me. They stay put when I tell them not to move. The first one is just an issue based on preference which what most of the complaint on the combat system are.

Not available yet. Release date is the 11th August, tuesday (north america timezone I think...)

In my country it's available later on the 12th, which is the 11th in the Bioware part of the world.

I guess you got a lot more triggers than me, which is odd, considering I did every single little thing in it.

Well, it looks like we'll get another new Anchor ability, if that's what you mean.

BansheeOwnage, yes, I hope so.

I really want content that add things to Inquisitor and not just new quests.

It would be great to see new abilities, new potions, grenades, tonics, weapons, armos, runes and why not hair and tattoos too =)

Maybe a new potion slot. In DAI MP, we can have 4 potions.

Let's expand Inquisitor options together with areas expansions.

Well, it'll be available on the night of the 10th for Xbox One players since Xbox always jumps the gun on putting out content. :P

Origin typically pushes new content at 10AM PDT.

Microsoft does it around midnight, and PSN is something like 4PM in the afternoon (and not even until the next day in EU regions).

Just checking to make sure but the Microsoft midnight is also PDT?

Yes (assuming we're still in Daylight Saving Time; I can never remember—if not, then PST).

Thank you, and yeah it should be. Standard time usually kicks in around Halloween.

I understand it scales.

I just went down at level 27 and the early foes were tough let alone anything I'll meet later.
