I'm afraid Varric will dieeeeeeeeeee you guys. I'm afraid for him!
Playable before the ending at any time after reaching Skyhold.
So I rather doubt it.

So, Varric and Vivienne, anyone? They love the place so much, which means it's up to us to grant them the pleasure of exploring more of the Deep Roads.

Brace yourselves for Broodmothers in Frosbite Engine.
....well there goes my excitement for this DLC. ![]()
How would that work if it is accessible after Skyhold? Would they just replace him?
That's true! You're brilliant, I could kiss you!
So I'll be taking Varric, Solas, and.....Cass.

Yes, someone pointed this out so this makes me REALLY much happier and now I can relax and enjoy listening to him complain the whole time about how he hates the deep roads. It'll be great. ![]()

More traumatic Deep Roads memories for Varric, yay! ![]()
I wonder what that secret is. Maybe the warden became a broodmother? :-(
Time to reinstall. It looks good.
Titans... maybe
My guess is that it's somehow lyrium related, given the Rock Wraith at the end of that trailer and all the lyrium veins everywhere. Though given the tainted dwarves and the massive darkspawn emissary/magister, I foresee some Blight related secrets as well.
The first voice in the trailer sounds like Bianca, somewhat?

I thought so, too. Maybe she's the one who brings the issue to the Inquisition's attention?

I reckon we'll choose between these new dwarves
At some points in the trailer they're both there, other points just boy, other times just woman, so either they'll play different roles or we will have to pick between them I think
The male dwarf is pretty hot actually ![]()

Exciting to say the least =)
Can't decide if this is best for post-game or not....since it scales anytime after Skyhold could be fine but then you would still be massively overleveled for Pride and Doom.
Maybe we get to take Bianca along and SHE dies. I'd be okay with that.
Oooh, you are nasty ;-)
I'm surprised so many people are excited.
As for me, this feels like an dungeon crawl. And I absolutely hate dungeon crawls. Unless we run into an Old god by the end of the story, I very much doubt it will interest me. The fact this can be started right after you reach Skyhold is enough hint that it won't matter much story wise.

Well, time to have Blackwall fight a bunch of darkspawn.
Oooo, I wonder what the secret is...it will rock Thedas, or the world. A secret that will rock the world? Hmm.
This looks good. Gotta say. I liked JoH, too, but I think I might like this one more. And it just so happens I have a Lady Cadash PT--that I actually really like- ready to go. Well, almost ready to go. Finished Wicked, etc, and don't have anything else except rummaging around, or the end.
So, JoH, soon for her. Then Descent. Perfect for my DwarfQuisitor.
What I like is that I can fit these dlc's within the game to kinda fill out the last part before the end. After Abyss and Wicked, but before the end.
I did think the game needed more main quests, afterall...
Oh, is that one female dwarf in the trailer Bianca?

Love a good dungeon crawl, if it is anything like the deep roads in DA:O this will be amazing. I am betting it will be more lore relevant than Jaws of Hakkon. If it ties into red lyrium having the blight and what really brought the first blight around i will be very interested.
It's nice to see Ogres getting grabby again.
