Assume no.
Its extremely unlikely and you shouldn't get your hopes up.
Why unlikely? Assuming if
Excuse me if there was information I missed that rules this out completely.

The icing on the cake is that this comes out next week, can't wait. ![]()

Practical implementation issues aside, all information we have suggests that the Warden is off someplace far to the west, to a land never touched by the Blight, not the Deep Roads.

Who would have thought we were going to get a Deeproads DLC? You'd have thought they would have gave us some clues.
This looks awesome.
The trailer looks so bland. The Jaws of Hakkon trailer on a calibrated monitor really looked sharp?

Oh! And that must be the information I've missed. Sorry about that. ![]()
I'm really curious what the big secret will be;
*We get to know who the dwarven deities hinted at in the Primeval Thaig of DA2 truly were. Forgotten Ones? Old Gods?
*Kal-Sharok?
*Titans?
*The Profane?
*Will we perhaps learn the truth about the Calling and its purpose?
*Some big reveal about lyrium or red lyrium?
*Might it be that these fissures lead to an even stranger place beneath the deep roads? The Void perhaps?
*Architect or other magister cameo?
*Might it be that we finally get to know exactly how a blight starts and possibly get to understand the old god/archdemon connection?
*Will we perhaps learn just how the Wardens supposedly were able to locate these 'prisons' of the old gods?
*Perhaps Bioware will even unveil the origins of the dwarves and the reason why they are incapable of dreaming and magic?
*Could we even get a hint to the all so popular theory on the Elven Pantheon/Old Gods being connected?

Of course my Inquisitor will probably wake up the day before he is set to embark on his journey into the deep roads, chained to a wall, left only with a note reading;
You stay home on this one and leave this to the pros trololol

Will be a very exciting DLC release for sure!
Good old fashioned epic dungeon crawl - SIGN ME UP!
Not expecting much in the way of story, but it's a dungeon crawl so it's all good. Guessing they'll save story heavy DLC for the next (Final?) one coming.
Looked like some familiar places from Origins - that bridge possibly leading to Kal Shirock?
It was, you're right, it's just an odd hunting ground for such a massive winged creature.Well, wasn't the Dragon in The Calling in a deep cave or the Deep Roads? It's been awhile since I read it, but I think that's where it was.
Do you think the Warden might make an appearance? I'm getting a little excited just thinking about that.
Well, the Warden is supposed to be searching a cure for the Calling, and after that he better join Morrigan and Kieran ![]()
Well, IF the leaked survey speaks anything true, it seems that those two hypothetical DLCs might be rolled into one.
Well, going by the supposed survey leak, the Qunari DLC and the Wolf Hunt DLC may be one and the same.
EDIT:
Maybe Solas getting his ass kicked by a bunch of horny horned ox-men?
Please BioWare, PLEASE.
I'm hoping it's not just a dungeaon crawl. I'm hoping there's as much content as JoH. I'm hoping the underground setting has not forced them into a linear map. Doing the Deep Roads in the style of most of the DAI maps could be really impressive. I'm hoping for more Lace Harding. I'm hoping for epic Legion of the Dead. That's a lot of hope for one player. EPIC HOPE!

You in the deep roads. It's not going to look pretty.
Imagine there is a twist near the end of the DLC that whoever you bring with you to the Deep Roads contracts the Taint. I can imagine the look on Vivienne's face if something like that happened to her. Or Sera's. Or any companions' really.
Highly unlikely, but still an interesting thought...

Sorry, but...
Oops. Got ninja'd while I was trying to remember how spoiler tags worked.

You're bound to find a note from the Warden saying, "The Hero of Ferelden was here. PS: Would you kindly kill the Balrog for me?"

Fab! And thanks for the "really soon" answer last week. Is there an optimum level for starting The Descent? #DAI
yes but I don't remember the best range. @Mike_Laidlaw ? the upper end covers post game
It gets tougher as you go further. Starting area scaled down to 12ish minimum, I recall.

Or your Inquisitor becomes tainted and has to become a Warden. ![]()

How's loot scaling? Do uniques that stay at a certain level? Or a point in the game when you'd get more "bang for your buck"?
Loot does not scale. There is a wide range of gear to be found. Further down, higher level foes and loot.
Has anyone taken a close look at 1:32 of the trailer? There is a nice underground forest it appears! Or at least a Hakkon looking multi-tiered canopy.
I said it in another thread, and I'm saying it here. It was hard enough to know we (last gen owners) would miss something, but knowing we're missing this?

So if I'm lvl 27 atm. The Darkspawn is going to be the same lvl as I am at the beginning right?
Unlikely to be that high at the start. Will scale higher as you descend.
Anyone asked if the Level Cap is extended? JoH basically caps me on all characters.
I'm smelling ME3 Omega style DLC

What's the level cap?
I feel like this DLC is meant to be played before JOH.
