I wish this was post-game content. I don't replay long games like this so it's not what I wanted. Same for the The Witcher 3 expansions.
Might buy it cheap on sale unless the the reviews are great.

I'm probably gonna skip on this one. Seems like another JoH, except in the Deep Roads, with Dark Spawn. Which, if that's the case, I don't need to play it. I really wanted some DLC to fix some of the problems with the main game (especially the main story), but they don't seem to be interested in doing that.

Yeah the main story is largely finished till something like wolf hunt comes out.

Well dragon age inquestion could do a new game plus thing like the witcher 3 is planning to make things easier and faster for when expasions come out
Disappointed it isn't post-game, but post-game does present a problem in that quite a few companions can leave after the Cory fight so the parties that players have used and built for the entire game are suddenly not available. The easiest work around is to do it like GoA and have new companions specifically for that DLC, but then the DLC would have to be locked into a single location.
Damn I wish this was another next day release.
Kal Sharok dwarves are probably confirmed by the trailer, possibly more lyrium and titans lore, maybe even an Old God or an ancient magister. Exciting stuff.

I only lose Solas at the end of my game. Even my Divine returns if I ask nicely lol
The Deep Roads are my favorite part of DAO. DA2, as well for that matter. I thought DAI didn't have nearly enough of it.
Of course, this is when Bioware decides to flip me off and stop supporting my platform. Thanks, Bioware! Glad those years of loyalty paid off.

Get out of last gen. You will be happy you did.

I'd be happy to, as soon as someone points me to the mythical money tree. I can't exactly pull a new computer out of my hat, not with things like utilities, food, insurance to take care of.
I truly wonder how many people would've bought the old-gen version had Bioware flat out said "We're dropping all support for you eight months in, good luck with those bugs, glitches, and no more DLC."
People give Bethesda hell for dropping support for their games, and they didn't do that for at least a year and a half on Skyrim.
It looks like they have Legion of the Dead armor.(and also their very own beige pyjama)+ some kind of lyrium decoring the armor.
I doubt they're darkspawn , probably dwarves who did something funny to protect something.
I'd go with Legion of the Dead ghouls.
They're too strong-looking and organized to be ghouls.
I beat that they're veteran genlocks (darkspawn spawned from dwarf broodmothers) that killed Legionnaires and took their armor for themselves for pragmatic purposes/trophies.

You will probably be able to get new Xbox One or PS4 for around $300 this upcoming holiday season. There are even deals now where you can trade in last gen system for like $175 credit towards a current gen console. I understand the frustration of being burnt like this though I'm not saying it's not messed up.
Some Xbox One bundles even come with EA Access which just added DAI to its library so you wouldn't even have to buy the game again. I'm pro PS4/PC, but that is a good deal.
Darkspawn and old gods are not the Inquisition affair, are the GW and the legion of the dead business, yep getting tired to see the Inquisition snoop their nose everywhere.
Except when a Darkspawn tries to become a god.
That's when it becomes their business.
I really can't believe myself, I hated the deep roads with passion and now I want this DLC sooooooo bad.....
I'm taking Blackwall before the reveal with me and hoping for some hilarity.
"Blackwall, you're the Grey Warden here, tell us how to navigate the Deep Roads and fight Darkspawn."
Sorry for the off-topic but this is the single most hilarious thing I've ever seen on the internet... Maybe Blackwall can fake head injury to avoid the team leaving him rot there when the jig is up ![]()
Also, I hope this dlc sheds some light on those things heard in the Well Of Sorrows. Even if it's just a little.
Or they could be a group of intelligent Darkspawn?
It's odd that they'd be wandering in the dark like that, unless they somehow can see in the dark or have devices that allow them to do so

You win the internet today. I would love to get more evasive Warden Blackwall dialogue here. "Well, its not so much sensing the Darkspawn that makes a Warden. Its a promise."
Honestly I am thrilled by this news. Much as I enjoyed Jaws, I had three concepts in mind that I really hoped they'd pursue for DLC, and this was one of them. I can't wait to dust off my original inquisitor and dive into the Deep Roads.
Ah, Dutch, so entertaining!
And here I thought it was going to be another boring night on the Forums after I got home!
But, I'll just say it now.. we all know you are going to hate it! Hell, you hate JoH and you haven't even played it!
My two cents, so far. It would be that DA/Bioware just released this trailer with a very low graphics quality but it looks really bad on that aspect. Blurry scenery all throughout the video, flat looking darkspawns. Good thing is that it appears to have a less flashy, less arcadia-style action combat which I would welcome.
I noticed from the video that Solas and Varric are fighting something or someone together so this definitively not a post game DLC.
I will be patiently waiting for reviews from many players for a looong time (and of course, not from any of the sites that gave DAI such a high rating), and for this DLC to be on sale before I even consider buying it. I learned my lesson after pre-ordering DA: Fetch Quest Inquisition.

They're not genlocks, DA2 style genlocks are visible in the trailer, these have a totally different body shape.
Uh-oh. The DA:I website states in a post on lyrium that mages cannot even approach unprocessed lyrium. To do so is invariably fatal.
So how are we supposed to take mages through this quest? What if our Inquisitor is a mage? They said this fatality does not vary. They might be able to explain it away by saying the anchor protects the Inquisitor, but what about the companion mages? Or will the anchor protect everyone somehow?
EDIT: Oh wait, a later part of the same post states that upon ingesting refined lyrium in liquid form, a mage enters the Fade while fully aware. Which is false.
So... disregard this post.

It depends on how close is too close. The only lyrium we see seems to be far away. Plus, who is to say that the stuff on the armor isn't processed.

Perhaps the DLC features both DA2 style genlocks and Origins genlocks as different branches of the same semi-race. (It would be a ridiculous retcon to just ret-gone all of the genlocks from origins into hulking ape-beasts)
Whatever those warriors are, it's unlikely that they're ghouls.
