Just figured i would bring this up since bioware wont out and say it and trolls say bioware dont need your  money.

NEWS FLASH  looks like bans for players in bugged lobbys is  a possibility  and bioware wont say for sure.

I for 1 will not spend a dime till i know for sure as i am not a fan of the pay me so i can ban you policy.

I would suggest that no 1 buys it untill bioware is more upfront on its intent

Fidzz said we cant be more clear?  lol try this clear as glass will you ban players over xp bug?  yes or no

Thats as clear as it can get.

God plz no trolls here trust me every 1 knows how you feel and this is not x2 lobby thread

Apparently asking how they will distinguish between cheaters and genuine accidents is a sensitive topic. Fiddzz locked the thread after i asked it. I suspect its because there is actually no way to determine it. Nobody will get banned, I promise you.

Everyone can be dropped into bugged lobbies and not know it, it's not like the missile glitch of me3 where it is very obvious something is wrong. They would have to ban everyone if they did that

They should fix it, but banning over it makes absolutely no sense.

They're not looking into fixing the leaderboards, so I'll have to agree with Pork. Nothing will be done.

No talking about lobbys or glitches this thread is for those with an opinion on bans and dlc sales

Just so were all clear

I think they have more than enough information to differentiate between the true exploiters and the accidental beneficiaries of the glitch. I also think they won't care about that majority in the middle who enjoyed a healthy amount of it.

Based on some of the posts here, it seems like there are some players out there who have -only- played in exploited lobbies since it was discovered. If anything's going to be done, it'll probably be done to those players.

Oh don't worry, I shan't pay naught for this MP DLC. As with the last one.

That'll teach 'em!

I don't see how the Descent announcement should matter. The DLC is for single player, an MP ban wouldn't stop you from playing that so you're getting your money's worth regardless.

Bans in relation to dlc

why is every 1 so thick headed and hung up on 1 topic

Plz lock this thread as the trolls seem hungry and this was not meant to feed them

It was meant to get an over all opinion on a potential ban wave so close to a dlc release

Any multiplayer component to the DLC will be free whether you buy the DLC or not.

If you have not been cheating on purpose, they err on the side of caution, and you will not be banned. If you have been, you may be. That could happen at any point between now and infinity.

Obviously.

So it is written, and so it shall be.

Also not the point regaurdless of how some feel every 1 that plays is a customer

Lets not forget this glitch was not created by players and players cant fix it.

Bioware is to blame for the inroduction and delayed removal of this glitch.

They may not condone it but they allowed it to happed

If this was murder they would be charged for murder as well

#maybe you didnt kill em but you supplied the gun#

Bans aren't even in the works yet, who knows if they will at all, and we're already getting the sob story.

This whole thread must be a troll because you're complaining about not being able to breach Terms of Service you agreed to when you installed the game.

You also were told to stop a few weeks ago and seems you decided not to.

RIP xxthat guyxx

Enjoy your time not in the Deep Roads.

Don't blame Bioware for your abusing a glitch, after they explicitly stated that intentionally recreating and abusing the glitch is a violation of their ToS and therefore a bannable offense.

Wow some real brain power here lol hell yes i have used the glitch at least i have the balls to own up to it

And to ban me for a mistake they made would be comical at best

Yes i used the glitch

No i dont care if you think its fair

So do it ban me get on with it just dont take 8 weeks to do it

You know whats worse than getting a ban from damp?

A splinter

Stubbing your toe

Farting in public

Dealing with trolls

And well.... just about everything else on the planet.

Blaming it on Bioware is hardly owning up to it.

I fail to see how this glitch isn't all biowares fault. Ive been in glitched lobbies before because its stupidly easy to accidentally do.

The player isn't modifying anything, or hacking, they are simply leaving a lobby at the right time. Im not surprised people do it given the huge amounts of disconnects, crashes and freezes that have cheated us out of XP in the past and continues to do so.

Im not an advocate for cheating, but I totally understand why people do it, and if its contained in private matches, then I see no problems with it.
