In my humble opinion, the double xp thing is being hyped up a bit too far by a lot of players.  Here's my  penny's worth:

  • The only thing it enables someone to do is scale a leaderboard more swiftly
  • Without it a huge proportion of players will never even experience Nightmare once let alone Heartbreaker
  • Only people it affects are elitists who subsequently are the only ones who care strongly enough to voice
  • If you are not even on the leaderboard and you care at all - C'est la porte
  • I am not on the leaderboard, nor shall I ever be
  • ^Big hole in my soul
  • Do you propose that in a game that is purely lobby-based Player vs Enemy, that your OWN gameplay is affected in any way?
  • You'd propose that a team of programmers entasked with ironing out glitches and airbrushing the ****** on to the next Ashley/Liara/Miranda should spend hours sifting through a pile of existent/non-existent server logs?
  • What if Bioware only log progressive stats such as rating and loot inventories?  - Matches are based on a server created by an individual 'host system,' at the end of each area they (Bioware) take an update of in game statistics (kills, assists etc) and store these along with player ID in the event that a host disconnects and they have to re-assign a new host (migration)
  • It would take more man-hours than realistically feasible to expend weeding out who created a lobby Vs who innocently joined one but then stayed for the xp Vs the people who were clueless and thought, "Huh I swear last time I played I levelled up a lot quicker than that"! XD
  • It's not a huge deal on the end of the game publisher, they are still providing us with a fantastic and fun product - again the only affected ones are those bickering over leaderboards.
  • If Bioware was to take a selective sample of people suspiciously rising through the ranks from 1000-1500, does it seem fair that they/we overlook by way of not being on the leaderboards those players advancing from 500-1000??
  • If 1 player is banned for exploiting.... Legally....  Should that person not be entitled to demand all others be banned en masse lest an individual/s be victimised.
  • Life goes on
  • Roll on Mass Effect
  • Resurrect Shepard from a pubic hair and let's be done with this foolish talk of, "my life's ruined and Bioware aren't doing their job, so let's not buy the DLC because "insert whinge"
  • Fair cop, some players take pride in their position on a leaderboard and may feel hard done.  Apologies and commiserations are due (genuine)
  • The game works.  The game is fun.  There is light at the end of the tunnel - the glitch will be solved via a patch.  Those genuinely still investing time in the dungeons will have it reflected.
  • In any case ban or no ban - "LEADERBOARDS WILL NOT BE RESET" is the order of the day - Official - The horse's mouth as they say.
  • What about a new additional leaderboard displaying "hours played in Multiplayer".   Would be a fair key to determine who really are the 'Titans'.
  • Let's be civil
  • Let's stop posting threads bemoaning a lack of action
  • Let's wait for the release of the update
  • Let's be chill
  • Let's seriously STOP MAKING THREADS ABOUT THE DOUBLE XP and how it has caused our vital organs to begin to fail, our bodies to become dehydrated, our eyes to have developed dark patches, our sleep patterns to have randomised, our thumbs to have developed a callus, our screens to have a GUI burnt in to them and our diet to have slackened.
  • There I said it, please no more moaning guys, it's bad enough to see multiple new threads each and every day on the same stagnant topic matter.
