I have no idea why, though im hoping you guys will know, but when i tried to go to the exalted plains earlier it wouldnt let me choose blackwall for whatever reason. I have just completed the storyline quest "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts" and i talked to everyone about my decision to leave empress celene alive and when i went to talk to blackwall it showed a cutscene and he was talking about his days when he was young, before he became a warden, and he went into a story about a dog he watched be hung by bandits when it went up to them looking for food. I went to the exalted plains to hunt down the snowy wyvern for viviene, any ideas why it wont let blackwall come?

Try looking for him in the stables. There should be a hidden object there that explains why he disappeared.
