I just thought I would post this here on the off chance that a dev actually looks at this part of the forum (I highly doubt it). I think that bringing out the second story DLC almost a year later is way to little way to late. I have kept my ears open on this game to see if any of the major problems with this game were ever fixed. and sadly they were not and now they are trying to force a new story DLC on us when 70-80% of us have moved on. I myself removed the game from my Xbox one back in February I think an I have not seen anything yet that will make me want to install it. you should have spent more time trying to address all of your fans complaints rather then making paid DLC for the horrible multiplayer and now a year later try to release the second DLC.

I am sorry EA but all my money has either gone to a true RPG (Witcher 3) or will be going to a true time synch (Fallout 4). your game was suppose to be both and really turned out to be neither.

Yeah it is a bit late now. I deleted the game yesterday, actually. Got tired of waiting for new content.

If you are hoping for the devs to see this thread and pay attention to it, you should, at least, post what is it you wish to complain about and why you believe this new DLC won't adress it.

Now a days story driven RPG loses their shine rather really quickly because once you play it to completion (meaning multiple gameplays with different class and choices), it's gone.  This certain game, Reckoning, Divinity, PoE are vanishing really quickly.  I don't hear anything from Divinity, I need to dig a bit for PoE, this game is just hanging on threads now.  This trick of theirs of just releasing minor dlc with price and also the multiplayer is slowing the inevitable, but it's coming.  Once Fallout 4 is here, every RPG fans' focus will shift to that game, because of character development and also mods.  Mods prolongued the life of every Bethesda RPG games, like blood magic, Dragon Age Origins did that and it still have spunk in it. XCOM is even going to support modding the next game comes out.

If this game will not support mods, in the VERY NEAR FUTURE, not the fan developed modding tools because that still have big flaws, such that hair mods and mesh is having trouble if not in ultra, this game will be forgotten, just a remnant of supporter will be here, and will always nag the dev to be like SKYRIM or WITCHER because the life of these games are disappearing.

I'm babbling, but Maker, help me, support modding on this game, please.

Why does what you hear matter?

I love that the Witcher is a true RPG ...give it a rest. It fails as many check boxes on the RPG snobs checklists as anything else.

I find the whole concept of "too late" puzzling. Who cares how long ago it was? Unless you just can't recall the game I'd think having a nice spread on the game content is good. Heck, I'd love to see new KOTOR content if anyone would make that. I like having a reason to pick up an older game.,plus, I'm not one of those types who plays a game and then when the next new hotness comes out moves on immediately to never look back.

What are you smoking? DLC's never address problems with the base game. Never!

OP is referring to the multitude of issues with the game that was talked about since day 1 but was never addressed by the developer. Bioware chose to ignore those issues and spend their resources creating more content.

They are greedy. Fan service means absolutely nothing to Bioware. Unless it will make them more money immediately, they are simply not interested.

So now we have this new DLC, but the tac cam is still broken. Elf models are still bugged. PC controls are still rubbish, etc. etc. etc...

The new DLC will be more of the same....shard collecting and opening doors that reward you with junk. And you are actually going to pay real money for that?

Not to do about mods, but in relation to keeping things fresh, after 20+ (probably close to 30) complete playthroughs of Origins, I'm still coming across things I havn't experirnced before. With Inquisition, after 1 playhtrough, I feel that all I don't know is what happens during the Mage questline rather than Templars.

1. now they are trying to force a new story DLC on us

2. when 70-80% of us have moved on. I myself removed the game from my Xbox one back in February I think an I have not seen anything yet that will make me want to install it. you should have spent more time trying to address all of your fans complaints rather then making paid DLC for the horrible multiplayer and now a year later try to release the second DLC.

3. I am sorry EA but all my money has either gone to a true RPG (Witcher 3) or will be going to a true time synch (Fallout 4). your game was suppose to be both and really turned out to be neither

1. How are they "trying to force" a new story DLC on us? There are people who have been asking for more story-related DLC and there are people who have been asking for a Deep Road DLC. Now there is what seems to be an optional story-related DLC about the Deep Roads.

2. Interesting number. If you could, would you mind explaining your reasoning behind it or linking your source if you got it elsewhere?  I personally never understood the view of DLC coming out too late. My enjoyment of the DLC I purchase is never lessened by  how long it took for it's release nor how I long it took for me to buy it. As an example, I've bought DLC pertaining to the Dragon Age series sporadically and not all of it because some of it hold no interest to me. I only recently purchased some of Fallout: New Vegas's DLC despite my immense enjoyment of the game and I found no lessened enjoyment in playing it (Old World Blues was great fun and Roxie was adorable).

3. Your definition of a "true RPG" is not the definite definition.

I hope it's great. I think at least part of the delay was due to complications stemming from old gen co-development. Probably the scope of what they had planned was just too big to get working on the old gen systems, and that precipitated both the delay and the drop in support.

I'm not stressing the delay, though. I got two hundred + hours from DAI so far, and while I've been taking a bit of a break to play other stuff, I'll be picking it back up this weekend in preparation for this dropping on Tuesday.

I wonder how long Bioware will support DAI? The Witcher 3 will get 2 years of post-launch support. DAI is nearly at the 1 year mark after release and we still  have a product filled with bugs and glitches.

My complaint with the new DLC is that it will not be available for 360 and Playstation 3 players. If Bioware had told us up front that not all the DLC would be available for 360 and PS 3 users, that would have been fine. However, they allowed us to purchase the game and the first DLC (a lot of money). Now, if we want to play the next DLC we have to a) by a next gen console and repurchase the game (and the dlc already purchased if you are a completionist) or B) repurchase the game and DLC for pc. Either one is a massive investment.

This is a variation of "Bait and Switch" and I do not appreciate it. It would have been one thing to tell us at the outset of the release that they would be doing this, or even if they'd refused to release the game for 360 and PS3, but to sting us in the middle of the river? Should have told me you were a scorpion, Bioware.

2 years? They will support the game all the way to 2017? Why? If the second expansion comes out next year before the 1 year mark, kind of makes no sense. But anything to make CDRP look better than Bioware, eh?

That's what I read some time ago. And why not? If the expansions do well then they can add and sell new areas and stories as well as continuous bug fixes and addons. And it wouldn't be surprising if they'd launch a Witcher 3 Enhanced edition with more features at the end of year 2.

True, forgot about the enhanced edition possibility.

My thoughts are:
I've played loads of characters and had enough of replaying. I'm dying for post game DLC. But that will probably be the 'final' one - so who knows when that would come out. I think they should TELL people more than a week in advance or on the day about DLCs coming - expansion pass perhaps?!
as of the other day I too moved on to witcher, and I haven't played any of them so I'm playing 2 before 3.
I will get this DLC, but not until i've finished these witcher games, so I'm in no rush. If it was post story DLC I would be on that immediately.
