How very irritating, the Broncos got a TD + 1 and lead the Seahawks at half time, 19 to 10.
To add to the indignity, Pete Carroll gets hit by a ref and then gets penalized for it.
http://bleacherrepor...103-yard-return
At least Tyler Lockett looks good.
The Raiders/Rams score hasn't changed and the Raiders still lead the Rams, 9 to 3 at half time.

The Raiders/Rams game enters the 3rd quarter with a field goal, raising their score to 12 against the Rams, who remain stalled at 3.
The Seahawks got a field goal, so Broncos 19 to Seahawks 13.
Denver has a new coach and a new look to their offensive line. This could be cause for concern.

At 9:32 in the 4th quarter, Oakland Raiders lead St. Louis Rams, 18 to 3. The Rams are positively moribund.
Edit: It's Final. Oakland Raiders beat St. Louis Rams, 18 to 3. The Raiders are no doubt feeling really good about now.

Less than 3 min left to the Bronco/Seahawks game. The score is Denver 22 to Seattle 20...
Edit: It's Final. Denver Broncos beat the Seattle Seahawks, 20 to 22.
For the record, they beat us in preseason last year too. But then, they didn't even make it to the play offs...
Still, it's disturbing. The Seahawks have some issues they need to address. I'm glad it's just preseason right now.

Lesson learned? Denver's 2nd string quarterback is good. So if Peyton gets injured all is not lost for them at the QB position. I have to respect their planning.

Saturday, 8/15/15:
Minnesota Vikings beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 26 to 16.
Saturday, 8/15/15
1st round draft pick QB Jameis Winston got of to a shaky start getting sacked, fumbling the ball and throwing too high and off target at times. He did score his first passing and rushing touchdowns as an NFL player, though. Clearly in training mode but defiantly showing lots of promise.

The Vikings are clearly looking very good in preseason, so far.
Houston Texans beat San Francisco 49s, 23 to 10.
Kansas City Chiefs beat Arizona Cardinals, 34 to 19.
I didn't have a chance to watch these last 2 games on Saturday, or look at videos yet; so no comment at this time.
Sunday, 8/16/15
Philadelphia Eagles beat Indianapolis Colts, 36 to 10
I missed this game too, but I'm especially looking forward to sitting down with this particular replay...

I try not to get too excited over anything from preseason but I really feel like Green Bay is sitting pretty right now.

Yes they are:

The Patriot's QB Jimmy Garoppolo looks a bit rough around the edges. But like you said, it's preseason.

I will be watching my Seahawks very carefully as hit the road to Kansas City to play the Chiefs. Preseason or not it should be a good game.
The Packers will play the Steelers at Pittsburgh, another game not to miss. And don't forget, the Panthers will be playing the visiting Miami Dolphins.

Nobody can form a credible opinion of a rookie player based on the 1st game of preseason of his rookie year. So, it might be wise to hold the back the venom in regard to Marcus Mariota until he has a chance to adjust. The same for all the rookies until we have a chance to see more from them.

Here are my picks for NFL preseason game 2. They will probably be pretty inaccurate(I only got 8 out of 16 right last week), but trying to do this is a good challenge. I think it helps to try and scrutinize the effects of what's going on in training camp.

Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins --- Washington Redskins
Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns --- Buffalo Bills
Friday, 8/21/15
Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets --- Atlanta Falcons
Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs --- Seattle Seahawks
Saturday, 8/22/15
Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers --- Carolina Panthers
Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles --- Philadelphia Eagles
Chicago Bears at Indianapolis Colts --- Chicago Bears
New England Patriots at New Orleans Saints --- New Orleans Saints
Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Giants --- Jacksonville Jaguars
Denver Broncos at Houston Texans --- Houston Texans
Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings --- Minnesota Vikings
San Diego Chargers at Arizona Cardinals --- San Diego Chargers
Sunday, 8/23/15
Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers --- Green Bay Packers
Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers --- Dallas Cowboys
St. Louis Rams at Tennessee Titans --- Tennessee Titans
Monday, 8/24/15

If I make any changes it will be before game time.

Yes it is. I read the article yesterday. It will put a strain on the other receivers to step up to the plate. The Panthers will figure something out. Time will tell how bad this will be

Sorry about this, they're saying it's for the season.
Torn ACLs are far too common. I hope that new ways can be found to better protect this area.

Mettenberger is basically a young Cutler, he's a "gunslinger" as they say, I don't think the Titans won a single game with him last year but he showed promise. I'd still go with Mariota though because promise doesn't mean anything if you don't have a dominant O-Line.

Really sucks for Panthers fans, now I feel sorry for cracking jokes about the Panthers earlier. ![]()
As for ACL's, I injured my left knee many years ago so I would know - it's always from trying stop momentum really quickly, I think athletes in general would be better off trying to be efficient with movement rather than trying to get fancy.
