Just tested it, Looks like they did a one set reversal. 2x gold is still there. Hmm since it is PS3 it might be a bandaid for us, wonder if it is same for the new gen platforms.

Funny after all those threads about the 2XP glitch, BW finally fixes it and BSN is all quiet. So wonder if there are last minute juice imbibers busy

Its fixed!!!!!!!   had some friends confirm it  if you are in a x2 lobby it shows x2 gold and all that but xp is has a cap.

 

X2 xp ?     pfffft  x100 thank you for a fix now we can all go back to normal

 

However this wont stop trolls from wanting to see every 1 at the gallows calling for their heads.

I'd imagine glitchers would still want to do the glitch so that they can reach the max cap every time they play.

Wow what a lazy fix. Grinders like medallian are going to be hitting that cap every day without even cheating. That sucks for the die hard players.

Real fix requires a patch, but yeah sucks for ps3/x360 players

Here's to hoping we get a solid fix with the upcoming patch. This experience cap sounds like a band aid fix that doesn't quite do the job. And if it's possible to hit the cap through normal means...that would be all sorts of wrong.

From what i was told you can go from 1 to 11 in 1 game so even if players use some other form of xp gain ie. Mage flooding or the old use 20's then swap for a 1 that alot of you did with no issue or witch hunting.

A single game would make sense, but then again, it wouldn't be the first time the option that made more sense wasn't chosen.

Did anyone from BW confirm that there's a cap on total experience/promotions? Because the only one mentioning a cap was the glitcher and he only said that while gold still shows twice, exp is back to normal. At least that's what I understood.

Seems to be a cap per match  i dont have all the facts

 

A few friends said they played in a bugged lobby and got roughly the same xp one would normaly yeild in a normal lobby

 

Lets not start a wild fire this bandaid is a good thing   if thats even what it is
