Somewhat off topic but I wanted to throw this out there for some that make these vids. Did it feel IDK....."uncomfortable" putting the first one out there? I mean you're kind of opening yourself up to criticism, negativity, etc. Was it weird making that first video for youtube or whatever?
Edit: I'd almost rather do the vids now because most of the community sort of knows each other and there aren't nearly as many weirdos now. That said how to vids are kind of irrelevant in this game's lifecycle.
Yeah at first, personally, for me, I didn't know any better on how to do it. I figured, well, I learned something cool to beat platinum with a team, oh man Im excited, let me tell the world...then you come to the forum and drop it in and then it gets all torn up. LOL. Now that's NOT a bad thing though. You NEED people to tear your work down if only to make you become better together with the good. It can be done in a constructive manner but most of the time its not going to be done that way so prepare for that.
If you are really serious about it though, I just recently started doing videos speficically on Mass Effect after researching for close to 4 months on how to actually bring in new Mass Effect related content in a new way....and believe it's possible. So if you are going to go out there and get started, do so but definitely take out time to learn what is GOOD and worthy of being put out there. For example I look at some of my older videos and Im like...oh man...how the heck did anybody even subscribe to me???
Anyway, long story short, if you are interested in some direction. Real direction, just hit me up. I would tell you that it would benefit to understand AIDA (marketing term), and then everything that makes a video good. I am not perfect, good or even great. Believe me....I had to take a strong hard look at my older content before coming back (example of my new format in signature below) and really break myself down and criticize my own work and say...dang...it's time to learn and be better. So, I recommend, that before you post something out there, LEARN. I can give you some quick tips, everything else is up to you.
Feel free to message me off this post and I'll help however I can.
