Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a server with a custom tlk file. There are custom classes and races in the module. After I stage and upload I get an error saying "Autodownloader is improperly configured, pelase contact the server admin". I check the error log and the error is as folows:
ERROR: resource dialog.tlk disallowed, you may not attempt to override dialog.tlk or any of its variants.
ERROR: You must correct the preceding error before players can connect with autodownload enabled.
I don't quite understand what this error means. I have tried using the original tlk, no tlk, and the custom tlk and still the same error. What am I missing? I have also renamed the file still the same thing. The module itself works fine just the auto DL and the tlk file.

After getting the tlk to work properly a new problem has risen. When attempting to use the autodownloader an error pops up saying "RETR response 500: Failed to download tot.TLK from any supplied location". The is on the ftp for download in the same folder as all of the other files. All other files download correctly except for the tlk file. What am I missing?

Did you re stage the files after fixing the problem?

Yes i did, the error no longer appears in the log file and according to the txt file the tlk file goes in right along with the others.

Did you update the name of the tlk in the module properties?

Yes, this was an issue we found out about the hard way. In module properties under custom talk file it has been renamed to tot.TLK.

another stupid question. Did you save the module, close and reload before restaging the files?

The module was sent to me I opened the module with the correct tlk file in place used the legends info master configuration to set up the sql and then compiled and verified and saved. Then reopened the module and staged.

Like I said it was just a stupid question. was just trying to think of things that can be overlooked sometimes.
let me look through all my notes and see if I jotted down what I did wrong when this happened to me.

Yup! lol...Wow who would have though TLK and tlk would make a difference. But switching to a lower case extension seemed to have worked!

Glad you got it figured out. I still had one notebook to go through to find what I did wrong.
