monkai laid in his hammock swinging back and forth trying to think of a way help zera, he hated seeing her hurt due to events related to him.

Haha cheer up beloved Scorn said coming from the shadows. To say she was delighted at her competitions failure brought her a petty smile.

"My second closet companion loves me by extension you and she can't have what she desires most. This is serious" monkai said.

Scorn held herself laughing at his wish to help her. she sought to trap you with a bastard and your sorry for her.. charming.

Monkai knew who he was dealing with, he must have truly been guilt-ridden to ask for her advice. "If your just gonna mock our situation go play with your toys."

Scorn laughed harder and louder relishing in her love's distress it made her moist. She caused tendrils to grab and restrain him burning off his clothes. The smell of flesh burning.. his flesh caused her to drool from her mouth and tool.

"Scorn I'm not in the mood. STOP!" Monkai shouted trying to dispel her magic. but look at your staff... it's so... endowed! Scorn said dragging her nails across his tool. your just cranky cause she can't satisfy you like I can..

Monkai awoke screaming in cold sweat panting. He looked over to zera sleeping mascara still on her face from crying. He walked to the sink dunking his head in the water, he looked in the mirror seeing his eyes green and orange. He reeled back blinking them away. careful beloved your only supposed to do that during combat... they may think you'be gone feral Scorn said laughing at her lover.

He looked in the mirror changing his eyes back to their natural brown. "Sh*t"

I did but when I was writing it it was a bit hamfisted and it honestly worked better for another group of antagonists in season 3 so I recycled

Scorn is so wonderfully evil! It makes me wonder if it's Scorn whom Zera loves.

Thats a good question. In the existential idea she does love Scorn due to literally being apart of monkai but also would be in love with monkai.

Their interactions are indirect and when they do directly interact it's like confronting the stereotypical split personalty that can go either way.

For now I keep it wife(Scorn) vs mistress (zera) since rarely critically think bout it... hmm

Would Zera love Monkai without the pain he bears? My sense is that she feels he needs her as a counterpoint to Scorn. Then again, maybe Zera is simply fascinated.

I think so. She nearly died for him so I think her love for him is genuine but can be stressful to a extent. He's caught between two women he loves more than anyone. He needs her to make sure his dark half doesn't bring him to the abomination zone, but he needs Scorn cause she's his first love and soul mate.

In honesty without her he might have snapped and lauded waste to most of the city.

Its complicated. I often carry 3 themes for their menege twowa

Though I'm planning on actually exploring their dynamic before season 3

Elowyn is very curious about how that works - how one lives with possession without becoming an abomination. People are all speculating on how it must be abomination fest without the circles in Rivain, Tevinter, etc., but I have trouble believing the Chantry's dogma.

 

People without demons seem pretty bland and soulless to me.

Act 63: mockery

the dawn's light shined on her. The night had been exhausting ,zera had told monkai of her barrenness. He said nothing of it simply held her as she cried into him. He let himself be human again.

She left her bed seeing monkai had made his. "Made the bed.. there's hope yet" she said. She descended to the kitchen watching coldi talking with miri over breakfast.

"I'm telling you zera's been really secretive " miri said.

"Probably sneaking off for a orgy. I bet the girl can guzzle "

"Eww" miri said moving her chair back. "Easy little miss I'm just yanking " coldi said inching near miri

Zera cleared her throat. "Chores. Now! And miri back to work" she said losing her patience.

"Yes ma'am ma'am " coldi sarcastically said waving her hand and beginning to clean up.

"I am at work I had a package to deliver brother had a few papers to sign " miri nervously said. She could tell zera was furious "you all right."

"I'm fine just... stay safe I'm going to the lab"

Monkai was brewing a liquid that was green in colour. He was trying to replicate ugin's bombs. Adding grounded deathroot and blood lotus, it combusted in the air leaving a racid smell. "Nope that's not it" he said coughing

"Dear you have a minute.." zera said walking to him. "Always"

"How do you feel you left the bed early"

"I had a rough night bad dreams"

Zera wanted to ask how was Scorn but found it overstepping. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry.."

Monkai held her close stroking her hair. "Hey hey it's my fault. Don't worry bout it."

She nuzzled herself into his arms hearing his heart beat. She felt safe again. "Care to prove the healer wrong"

"I'm rivaini I'm always game for- " monkai before grabbing his head. "Damn it stop "

"Kai.. " zera asked reaching to touch him.

"Scorn. Been sometime"

Even zera couldn't deny he was losing control since the incident. But she promised him she will be his sword and sheild , she started to sing a song her mother would sing to help him have pleasant dreams

Act 64 : superstition and control

Scorn rubbed belly swollen from her tryst of dubious consent look beloved still heavy with child Scorn said massaging her belly.

"Scorn enough, it's not funny" monkai said hanging upside down impaled upon a tree. Scorn walked to her beloved your right.. it's a horrid form she said expelling the contents from her stomach. It was a puddle of black bile that shaped itself into a chair.

"Scorn the link works both ways. I know your jealous just admit it." Monkai said pulling his arm from the spike, blood dripped from him.

why would I deny it... I just don't care...YOUR MINE!

" I know but you care about zera too why else pick at her" he said.

Scorn dragged her nail across her dress cutting it in half must you talk bout her.. so cranky

"Scorn we need to talk about this. We are one the more to you usurp control the more problematic things get! We had friends before!" Monkai said finally tearing himself from the tree.

I'M ALL YOU NEED STOP PUSHING ME AWAY! Scorn shouted lifting him up

Zera and coldi walked the market . Merchants were peddling their wares. "So what are we doing here we already got dinner and it's boring" coldi said carrying baskets of vegetables and meat

"Just a minute wait here don't move" zera said.

"I'm not a dog.."

Zera entered the shop scanning the room, a old woman greeted her "oh looky here a visitor we have the best jewelry in the city" she said taking zera's hand

"I'm looking for something from rivain. A fertility charm specifically " zera said taking back her arm.

The woman took a lewd looking amulet from a box "this what your looking for... they are very reliable you know yes."

Zera took the amulet giving her a handful of silver "I'll try anything "

zera exited the store wearing her amulet. Coldi noticed the design it was of rivaini origin fertility charm exactly she thought. She descritly glanced at it as they walked home. She wanted to tell her she got ripped off since it was a fake but it was her business if she wanted to say why she wanted to make buns it was her business

maybe it can be a standoff a battle of wills bargaining even?

Or she can use her dreamer powers to show scorns fears/issues ending with some variant of begrudging respect but still hate?

I like that 2nd option! Because Scorn has to have a weakness, and Elowyn already knows that Scorn needs Monkai as much as he needs Scorn.

Act 65 voyeur

Coldi listened to zera and monkai making love. She was supposed to be cleaning the attic of bats and webs but the noise of passion distracted her.

"Come on... get it girl let him make you a cripple. " she she said touching her self. She remembered zera's words of sealing her lips shut that night if she touched her master... but she said nothing of thinking bout it.

After satisfying herself she wiped herself off and resumed dusting she saw a crawl space emitting a familiar sound. "Hmm I wonder where that leads to" she said tossing her rag.

She crawled through the tight space. If she was claustrophobic she'd been discovered but she liked tight spaces. She looked through a moderately sized hole to look upon her caretakers.

Monkai was on top of her thrusting himself into her while she laid on her stomach shouting as he climaxed. Laying on top of her.

"Come on I still have a few hours til dinner and her time" zera cooed massaging his member to keep it up.

Coldi heard squeaking she assumed it was zera finally becoming a drooling slattern but grew louder. She pulled her sticky hands from herself lighting a small flame to see what it was. Aflock of bats screeched due to the light attacking her.

Zera and monkai ignored her screams focusing on only them. Coldi squirmed and swatted away her attackers ,she felt the space cave in time stopped as she saw zera's face in ecstasy... then horror as she heard coldi's loud entrance.

The three house mates screamed, monkai and zera over their embarrassment and coldi fighting off a swarm of bats rolls around hoping to show submission. " submit I submit " she cried

Monkai was furious, coldi had seen him grumpy and sardonic but never angry. "Damn it child what's wrong with you! You had one chore today ONE! AND YOU COULDN'T DO THAT! " monkai shouted pacing trying to get his towel to stay on.

"He's very big... but how is he so frail... bet he has elf blood in him.." coldi thought focused on her master's member

"Maker girl pay attention! There will be untold punishment! " he shouted.

"Dear.. your eyes" zera said, with him blinking them normal again "I'll handle this"

"This is not a joking manner. We let you stay here due your family situation but in return we expect you to do your chores and our privacy. And what charm.." zera said as if scolding a adopted child.

"YOUR NOT MY MOM! AND LIKE YOU COULD BE ONE BUYING SOME FAKE TRINKET NOT CHECKING! " Coldi shouted back at her, realizing what she said. "Oh maker I didn't..."

Zera slapped her making her face redder than a tomato. "Don't you... ever.. say that again.... "

"Screw you lady barren" coldi said running out the house angry and embarrassed

"coldi come back" zera shouted running after her but missing her in the crowd
