Considering we do not know exactly when the ARK is launched. Could Cerberus still make a presence in the Andromeda galaxy? Or a least something similar?

Hope not I would like to have new enemies to shoot at but I wouldn't be surprised if something similar is going to appear at some point.

I hope not.
I sincerely hope all traces of ME3 are going to be washed away by the tides of time. ME:A does play in the far future, right?

Half of the citizens cryo-stored aboard will be Cerberus sleeper agents who should have read the fine print in their job description.

Our crew members could be undercover Cerberus,or some Cerberus Phantom will infiltrate the ship.

I had this same thought earlier this week. Anything's possible. I knew they are working on new enemies but somehow integrating some of the old doesn't hurt as long as its well through out and not something just added just because.

Not surprised if they make the cut really.

You know, I don't particularly care if we encounter Reapers or not. I'd prefer not, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
On the other hand, I would be pissed if Cerberus returned as a major faction.
The only capacity I want to see Cerberus make it to Andromada in is as a Project-Phoenix defector as a squadmate.

something that Cerberus will undoubtedly be, they have an exceedingly poor history of handling them well

Saying "Cerberus ruined Mass Effect" would be an egregiously massive understatement.

Exactly. The only part of Cerberus somewhat thought through (key word being somewhat) was the illusive man and Miranda...somewhat. There was no real depth to the other characters that were part of the Cerberus organization except for the few cut scenes where you save a few ex-Cerbs oh and Mass Effect Infiltrator but that's a whole other thing.
I would have loved to have seen Cerberus like a real organization, meaning like real people, real depth.

As much as I love Cerberus, it pains me to say this.. But no. I think TIM was too well written, and I love his character, that I don't think whoever they get to lead Cerberus in ME:A (if Cerberus returns) would be as good as TIM.
Now, I wouldn't mind something similar, yet minor in a way where it's an upstart group, that is antagonizing the Andromeda races, making it hard for ARKCON to build any type of relationships.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mac Walters isn't the lead writer on Andromeda, right? That should mean we can be reasonably sure Cerberus won't be forced into the new games since Cerberus was Mac's pet project.
no we've got Schlerf instead who makes Walters look great by comparison

Is he that bad?
He wrote Halo 4 before coming to Mass Effect.
Halo 4 is well loved by a lot of people, but some of his writing was a bit derivative in terms of sci-fi tropes.

I wouldn't know about that since I never played the game

Personally, I didn't like it too much, although a lot of folks said it was better written than Mass Effect 3 apparently back when it was released.
Truth be told I take anyones opinion on his work with a grain of salt, maybe watch a video of the game or something to get a feel for it.
