Who else believes that the majority of aliens will have three fingers?

Just wondering because most aliens in the Milky Way possess three fingers.

Speaking of fingers... is it racist to ask an alien for a high five? Here my awesome alien person you can have a high five... er... high three...

Might just be me, but alien fingers in these games seem super fragile and delicate.

 

I'd be ultra scared to slap their three-fingered hands. For fear of injuring them x.x

I think the finger count is fairly even spread; humans, asari, drell and batarians have 5, elcor and hanar have none, and quarians, turians, salarians, vorcha and krogan have 3. Volus suits have 3, but who knows how many they actually have... so i'm sort of expecting the 3 vs 5 thing to still be around 50-50 for the new races.

Also, is it offensive to ask an elcor for a high 5, cause he has no fingers, and cant really lift his paws (?) that high

Actually, if you compare Krogan, Turian and Quarian fingers to human fingers, then they are not fragile at all. They are more like thick sausages compared to ours.

Makes me wonder how those species manipulate delicate equipment when they can't even grip their tools properly.

 I'm not so sure. That means no "natural" lube. Lacking too much creativity and effort for my taste. 

 

 

 

Not to mention the probability of them having sweaty, clammy, pruned hands due to a lifetime in their suits. No thanks.
