For instance, I don't see Kaedrin's classes listed as choices for this npc, even though I can go ingame and choose them for my character. I'm guessing this is controlled by a 2da?

Perhaps the ClassID column of packages.2da? Just a guess.

hmm, it's not having the classes.2da in the override. Investigating further....
duplicated Classes.2da somewhere?
duplicated Classes.2da somewhere?
I only had a classes 2da in the override, and a test module strictly for class testing (no extraneous scripts, convos etc) with no haks associated with a campaign with no 2das in it, so no duplicate 2das. I might have to resolve this by putting all of kaedrins in my override and then start eliminating 2das until I find the one that controls this.
Well, it's definitely the classes.2da that controls this. I wiped out all the class entries except fighter and that was my only choice. Which also confirms I'm working with the right copy of the 2da.
idk,
but I have an edited version of Kaedrin's Classes.2da in \Override and the extras show up okay (on Mindflayer, eg).
Ps - i got rid of those Bad Strrefs by removing some incomplete rows from Classes.2da
Can you provide your classes.2da?
Hmm.... even with your classes.2da, the classes are not available in the properties (though they are ingame). I made sure I had no classes.2da in the campaign and module folder. My override is empty other than Kaedrin's. The weird thing is if I trim classes from the classes.2da (for example, leaving only a few stock classes), that is reflected in my class choice options, and if I override the rows for stock classes with Kaedrin's classes (overriding barbarian with Dissonant Chord for instance), barbarian is no longer available, but Dissonant Chord is still not an option.
what dialog.Tlk are you using, and it has to be in the installation root to show up in the TS.
I have the dialog.tlk included with Kaedrins in the my docs/nwn2/tlk. Does it need to be in the actual game install directory, replacing the official dialog.tlk?
yes, backup stock Dialog.Tlk
Works! Thanks!
