"You're a girl, right?" is a far better way to start a conversation.
In this case however it would also have been a perfectly good follow up question to your "You're asian, right?" question.

It's so easy, why haven't we ever thought of this before? I feel like a new man. And think about it. Just cut out the middle step, and draw abs on with a sharpie. That way you can use the time you WOULD have spent getting abs to create awkward text ideas. I've just taken a winning formula and perfected it. I deserve an award.
