for those of you debating the merits of HB vs. rewards, what if it still dropped the same loot as nightmare but with a far better percentage chance?  Would that make it more appealing?

I hope you mean for MP and not SP. Because what made the rock wraith fight actually "hard" in DA2 were the shitty party controls.

If you have the best gear and a good team with people who know what to do HB is doable for anyone. My stats are 70-45-50 and i've completed a couple of HB runs without much trouble. But like you say, there's not much reason to do so right now. It takes up considerably more time then NM and the payoff is the same. So long as i don't have all the hakkon weapons yet, i'll stick to NM.

 

Very true. You definitely don't need to be uberpromoted to complete HB. Team composition + coordination > promotions and gear

And what i mean here is the dragon should be harder than the other bosses  as in it should be easy for it to kill you.
Not harder to kill it.

stay off the go-go juice dragon maybe more challenging otherwise try HB mode or the faction bosses
