My content is locked up because I paid for it. Should have stolen it instead so I could use it. Bioware is making a great argument for piracy.

If this doesn't get locked or deleted, it will just die anyway of insignificance. Enjoy paying $50 for something with no support whatsoever.

Bioware you need to get your priorities in order
also, you need to test these games on an average computer an average user is running, not some 9000$ alienware 8Ghz processor with 10 GB ram type comp... blahhhhhrrrgh

Frankly, it's Electronic Arts. They posted in excess of 4 billion dollars of revenue last year (granted, they also posted a net income of -1 billion or so) so what the hell do they care? They just keep buying up good developers to make themselves more money, and to ensure that people keep buying their titles thinking it'll be an exception to the rule. I thought ME2 would be an exception. It is not. :/

I can't even return this POS game for the 360 version and I'm NOT giving Bioware more money.

All the more reason not to support them if this is how they act. I understand what you're saying though, they aren't going to care if a couple hundred people stop buying from them. I think the best solution is probably to find your own but I don't have the technical experience with computers to do so, so asking people on these forums is my only real hope.
And yea to the poster above me, normally I wouldn't care but EA has a terrible track record for these kinds of things.

Edit: Also remove your ME1 saves from the ME2 file after you have imported a character. You will need to do this each time you play the game
